1. My planned sequence of lessons provides for progression across the sequence as a whole by using the AQA exam specification for AS Level and conforming with the statutory guidance. The lesson planning process is vital in order to ensure that pupils can be taught in an effective manner and allow for inclusion of all ranges and abilities. I have planned to assess the baseline by a basic question and answer session on previous lessons on Improving organisational structures and workforce and establish what their perception of Recruitment and Selection is initially.

The criteria laid down in the specification gives a sound understanding of the foundations upon which to develop the work and meet the criteria.
2. Identify and justify opportunities for formal assessment within the Unit of Work, suggesting how the assessment data provided may be used to inform the foundations of prior attainment upon which the next Unit of Work may be built.
Formal assessment can be used to provide a continuous process which charts achievement, identifies areas for development and indicates the next steps. Prompt feedback can be used during the lessons so that students have an opportunity to implement what they have learnt before the work is completed. Written comments, when provided in a clear and explanatory manner, enables the student to see how future work can be improved. Tasks like the role play during the lessons focuses on the knowledge, skills and concepts relevant to the lesson and allows for feedback. The assessment data provided allows the teacher to set targets for individual learners and helps the students to know how to improve. At the end of the unit homework and class tasks against the learning objectives assess the learning
