Office Building Persuasive Speech
Hello Brother John,

Of course the subject of my email tells you something. You might surmise that I left the house early. It was about 5am.

When I did get to the office building I saw just the hint of snow, and by 7:00 am you could tell a world of difference.

I was in town until about 2:30 pm and while I was cautious driving back to the house it wasn't until the last 1/8 of a mile that I saw the slickest and most snow packed roads.

I was able to make it, thankfully!

What about you? How was your commute or did you just stay home?

Well, another Wednesday night devotional has come and gone. I was the speaker at the last one.

When it has been 3 weeks plus since we have really meet as a body in large numbers it makes it hard to find

Maybe a simple example is others you see in a vehicle. Outside of it they might be one person, but inside of it, they are transformed into something that often times takes on "a different and terrible reality," which is most distasteful.

Hopefully, I use my vehicle for the purpose it was intended for which is to take me from point a to point b safely.

Now this is where I go back to that faulty adding machine within.

You have x person and they have been impacted by a meeting and due to factors which are beyond their control they speed, they tailgate and they express much frustration in thought or verbally concerning moment to moment.

Others are impacted who had "NO DESIRE" to experience the "different and terrible reality," which x person is seeking to make them a part of due to some possible reasons.

I used the plural indication in the sentence above, but I think there is one word which that is very revealing and it is captivity.

You recall my last communication where I said concerning that which your daughter wrote and my suggestion for adding one word which was LORD.

What was it?

LORD...If it is not in your plan take it out of mine

I can only imagine if you were to take "LORD" and replace the word with whatever is controlling at the

Prayer

There is a person who'd say; "Oh, do I have to...?"

Personally, I think prayer is a privilege and I "GET" the passage which says; "give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18"

Others could be added to the list, but there is a fact that is true right down to the core.

Jeremiah 10:
23Lord, I know that people’s lives are not their own; it is not for them to direct their steps.
24Discipline me, Lord, but only in due measure— not in your anger, or you will reduce me to nothing.

________________

Most certainly God has NOT reduced us to nothing within the Kingdom of his "Dear Son!"

However, it does seem "VITAL" to get past the point of the following scripture...

Galatians 4:1 What I am saying is that as long as an heir is underage, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate.

If a person is truly willing to put on the "yoke" of the LORD then one reality will give way to another

A long time ago the difference between perception and reality was defined as the act of understanding in contrast to the act of being real. Reality could be tricky; most of us including myself depending on scenarios of our lives tend to give in to ideas which are not applicable to reality as a whole. The best example of this is written in the short story “All Over” by Guy de Maupassant. In which his main character Lormerin is very self conscious and narcissistic also Lise de Vance, a former old love plays a big role in hurting Lormerin ego and opening his eyes by showing him, his real self. Many would say that when reality knocks it could be harsh and confusing. In the next couple of paragraphs I want to show how my understanding of reality can be applied to the short story previously mentioned. Every day life brings so many unexpected moments of which we dream of but never really happen, this is where we draw the line for reality and perception of a perfect to be situation. Reality is in the eyes of the beholder and no one can really change that, all of us are born dreamers. When things get out of hand and reality hits, this is where people suffer. Why do we suffer? We suffer because we give too much or expect too much and not everyone has the same ideals when returning the favor. Also, some events might be trifling to some but extremely important to others.…

The idea that it’s hard to see past barriers you have become accustomed to, is also seen in “the breakfast club”. The five people in detention all look very different and we come to see they represent different social groups – all looking stereotypical for their role. “you see us as you want to see us... you see us as a brain, and athlete, a basket case, a princess, and a criminal... that’s the way we saw each other”. Because they look stereotypical for a certain group, they feel as if they have to belong to it. This creates barriers between them automatically. They do not want to accept and become part of the others’ life style. These stereotypes emphasise differences in reality. It generalises the outward consensus of the school, but by doing this it successfully illustrates a very real point. They have become blinded towards one another by the comfort of belonging.…

Imagine that you trained all your life for that special moment of playing in your first NHL game. At the beginning of your first shift in the game suddenly another player’s stick comes up and strikes you in the eye. This incident ends your career. This could have been prevented if you wore a visor. I think visors should be mandatory in the NHL in order to improve a player’s safety. Statistics have proven players who wear visors in the NHL play less aggressive. There are many incidents involving sticks and pucks going into player’s faces. A recent incident occurred between Philadelphia’s Chris Pronger and Toronto’s Mikhail Grabovski. Furthermore, two years ago a former NHL player Brad May, Gave a speech supporting the use of visors.…

The Boston Massacre took place on a Monday evening of March 5, 1770 around eight or nine o’clock. Several of the accounts say that snowballs were thrown at the soldiers so it is safe to assume that there was a decent amount of snow on the ground. However, based on weather patterns over the last 60 years, it is unlikely that snow was actually falling while the massacre took place. The testimony of Daniel Calef decreases the unlikelihood of snowfall that night because he talks of seeing the captain’s face clearly with the help of the moonlight. If it were snowing, there would have been clouds blocking light from the moon and visibility in general would have been reduced.…

After a quick breakfast and strong coffee, we were all ready for the next adventure together. The day was frosty – 18 degrees of Fahrenheit. My dad had always told me the when you hear the snow crunching underfoot, the temperature is 18 degrees, and I never knew how he knew that, but he was right. The air was so brisk and fresh, and the smell was reminiscent of fresh hay. I do not know why, but all alpine villages have the same smell, and thanks to the nice odor, I can always recognize where I am.…

The wet snow has been falling for two continuous days now. A large three-story building, which has not been kept in good condition, is located at the outskirts of town in a run down neighborhood. No tracks are visible from the front window, either meaning that no one has visited the house, no one has left the house, or the snowfall is so thick that it covers any sign of tracks instantly. In this case, the family has not made any attempt to leave the house. Until the weather warms up somewhat, the family will be staying inside because they can not afford proper winter wear to survive the cold weather.…
