Growing old is a positive for me. Growing old shows that you have over come life's obstacles. It shows a sense of strength.
2.Has old age made you look at life different?
It never made me look at life different but it help me understand what life means.
3.If you could had been any age your entire life, what would it be?
I would be somewhere around my early 30's. I still felt alive but at the same time I lived long enough to learn from my mistakes.
4.Are you scared of death?
Everybody I think is scared of death because its your last experience of life. I wouldnt say more so scared its just the fact that its a lot of stuff you will miss but I lived to see a dream come true so i'm pretty much ready more so now then ever.
5. Does old age take away from active work?
Old age does take away from active physical work but not from mental work I can still use my mind as good as I always been able to.
6. Does old age weaken the body?
Yeah it sure does but it makes you more mentally fit with the exceptions of brain diseases.
7. Does old age affect physical pleasure?
Old age does not take physical pleasure it self it just takes the energy to par take in physical pleasure.
8. Does old age mean your closer to death?
Not really because when you find your self in life thats when you really begin to live and a lot of people seem to find them selves in old age I think.
Reflection
My opinion on my interview was that it went very well. I feel as though I received great and honest answers. I asked for short and to the point answers to keep from getting off the subject. I asked questions regarding Cato's four reasons that Old age is the unhappy stage of life and some questions of my own that I always tried to answer my self. After reading the essay and conducting my interview I have come to my own conclusion about old age. Cato talks about the four reasons
