OpenERP Leave Management
CREATE NEW LEAVE REQUEST:
1. Click Human Resources -> Leave Management -> New Leave Request.

2. Fill up the following information (textbox with blue fill color):

Type of Leave Requested - select in the list the type of your leave request Leave Reason - reason of your leave request

Leave Status - select if it’s a Paid Leave or Unpaid Leave. For Unpaid Leave, it will be automatically deducted from the payroll. Vacation Start Day - start day of your leave request Vacation End Day - end day of your leave request No. of Days in this Leave Request - automatically computed by the system based on the vacation start and end date. (User can override the no. of days if the calculation includes the offdays.) Status - default value is DRAFT. If you’re sure about the leave request, press the CONFIRM button. If not, leave the status as DRAFT. Note: For Managers, after clicking on the CONFIRM button, you must select the VALIDATE button to approve your own leave. 3. Click SAVE button. After SAVE button, click the CONFIRM button if you’re sure about your leave request.

4. After clicking the CONFIRM button, the system will send an automatic email notification to the approver for your pending request. 5. Once your leave request has been approved or rejected by your manager, the system will send an automatic email notification to your email account.
