IDENTFY A PROJECT: * A leadership day at the college
PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
* The objective of the day is to expose our students at the college to different types of leadership .
* We invite leaders in the community to come and orientate the students on the following leadership styles :
* Directing * Coaching * Supporting * Delegating * Coercive * Authoritative * Democratic * Relationship – based * Transformational * Coaching
* Inspire the students to be able to identify what type of leaders they are. *
PROJECT ACTIVITIES
* Write a letter to College management seeking permission to take the day off for the event. * Set a date for the venue. * Get a venue * Send invitation to Guests * Set a date for the event *
PROJECT TASKS
* Decide on a date * Write a letter to college management asking for permission to use the college hall as the venue. * Design invitation cards and send them to guests. * Hire public address system * Hire decorators and cleaning staff * Hire a projector and laptop * Hire Waitrons and catering staff * Get groceries for refreshments. * Get cutlery ,plates ,glasses ,cups * Get chairs for 1818 students * Clean and decorate the hall. * Get stationary for the leadership day. * Clean hall * Decorate and arrange hall * Start cooking food for the day *
