1. ¿Qué es una organización que aprende?, ¿Por qué este concepto es tan importante para la calidad total? Peter Senge define “las organizaciones que aprenden son aquellas que tiene la habilidad de crear, adquirir y transferir conocimiento y modificar conductas con base a ese aprendizaje.“ Estas organizaciones pertenecer a un nuevo tipo de sistemas, que entienden que los continuos mejoramientos requieren de un compromiso de aprendizaje, de aprender juntos, el estar preparados para el cambio repentino, la gente se siente segura de si misma, de su trabajo, la gente tiene libertad de tomar sus decisiones, la comunicación es fluida y rápida, existen sistemas claros de monitoreo y medición. Algunas características de las organizaciones que aprenden son: aprendizaje, autogestiva, autodesarrollable, efectiva, competente, competitiva. Este concepto es muy importante para la calidad total porque es una organización que va cambiando constantemente y al tener este tipo de cambio se logara lo que es la calidad total es decir, siempre tratando de mejorar y tener calidad siempre. De esta maner el tener un cambio constante ayuda a que la organización aprenda, al querer hacer mejor las cosas y estar en constante aprendizaje. A su vez es importante que una organización así como sus líderes comprometerse con la calidad total para poder transmitir sus conocimientos al personal y de esta manera mostrar que siempre se tendrá aprendizaje, al mismo tiempo es importante porque para todas las organizaciones es necesario tener un tipo de monitoreo y medición y de esta manera se aplica lo que es una organización que aprende. 2.
