Executive summary
This report work is based on Blake and Mouton form of conflict resolution; it is a tool for resolving conflict in an organisation. This is basically a conflict in an organisation and how the conflict persisted because management avoid it all the time and how we decided to handled the conflict using Blake and Mouton model of team management style (win-win) solve the conflict to motivate employee by calling an immediate meeting, organizing a get together, giving awards to employees, and assessing employee on yearly based on competence, skill qualification etc, this will determine their promotion at the end of each year. As well as analysising, evaluating and constructing a salary scale to help the organisation know what salary to pay to each employee.
However, in suggesting the application of Blake and mouton conflict resolution in this case, that is the team management style (win-win) which, according to Blake and mouton is the best management grid of solving conflict. Real Time Communication would enter into a dialogue and discuss the problem with an open mind with the employees, in other to solve the problem, and so that the employees will be happy, satisfy and feel like the company family with the steps the organisation has taken in resolving the problem. On the other hand, the organisation will also be happy and satisfied with the current situation as well, and also be comfortable with the peaceful work environment in which the business operates, this will help motivate employees and create more productivity in the company.
Furthermore, Conflict is a regrettable, but avoidable part of organisational life; unresolved conflict is one of the most negative influences in an organisation. However, it is good for any organisation to understand the views of its employee, during Conflict and work towards competently converting the conflict into a co-operation.     We as a team have discussed Week 4 and the things we have learned along with some of the things we struggled with. We have become very familiar with each of the different conflict management strategies. We were able to define and gain knowledge on each of the strategies. Along with gaining knowledge, we were able to figure out what scenarios are appropriate for each conflict management strategy. Along with the different conflict management strategies we have been able to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each. Doing so, this has helped us use these strategies in our own teams here at the University of Phoenix.
