I assisted in revamping the orientation power point. Facts regarding the company were checked from the website. The various product ranges offered were also discussed. Competitors’ data from the R&D department were taken and the AUM (asset under management) growth was reflected to show where UBL funds stands. Moreover, the orientation power point included the industry overview, a brief history about UBL and its management, vision, mission, schemes and the HR policies regarding leaves, absences etc. Also, another presentation was made which included the welcome letter, strategic objectives of the company- visual map, road map, a 120 day schedule, an online directory called, ”a Log book”, assigning a mentor, …show more content…
A climate survey provides a picture of an organization’s needs. The survey was created on the dimensions of UBL Funds core values: creativity, teamwork, respect, strategic agility etc. The results of this type of feedback process provide an understanding of how the employee perceives the organization along different dimensions. This process will help UBL Funds to understand how the employees perceive them. UBL Funds will then be able to focus on its strengths, will have a true picture of its internal health and can use this to motivate employees by addressing to their grievances. Policies and procedures will then be changed accordingly. Basically, it is conducted to boost up job satisfaction. The questionnaire has 55 questions, each testing the satisfaction of the employee.
