Oro Valley Music Festival Analysis

The Oro Valley Music Festival is an annual event held in Tucson, Arizona at The Golf Club at Vistoso in Oro Valley. This two-day event lasting from September 30th until October 1st, 2017, was sponsored by the 97.1 BULL radio station, along with the my92.9 radio broadcast station. This was the third annual Oro Valley Music Festival that drew in a crowd of over 10,000 people for both days (Burch, Karr). The first day of the festival was solely country music while the second day was predominantly modern pop music, with headline acts including Echosmith, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Leann Rimes, Gavin DeGraw, and Train (“Oro…). The Oro Valley Music Festival is open to people of all ages and beyond the territories of Southern Arizona. According to Rich Elias, the golf club’s general manager, “the range of customers that we feel like we cater to is literally 15 to 65,” adding “there’s something for everybody here,” (Burch).
