Otaku Autobiography
My name is Marissa Clearwater as you may know from the summary haha well lets just jump into my story instead of me blabbering on.

I came from a well to do family we never had any problems with money or anything of the sort so I've never really known about hardships.
I had two siblings a younger brother and sister who were twins and they defined stereotypical twins. Both were mischievous, silly and never did anything without each other they even went to the bathroom together (dont worry we got them to break the habit though that was a time of horror) carrying on my mum and dad were a really caring and loving couple who were very devoted to each other and family. Then theres me a fourteen year old girl who when i was twelve found out the mythical of literature... The manga and anime kind ahaha.... And finally becoming into the otaku i am (emphasis on otaku not weeaboo!)
…show more content…
Though it was because of anime and manga that i found myself wishing for a more interesting life when i was dying.
And what more perfect for an otaku to die by the amazing Truck-sama!!!
I hadn't noticed the signs when i ran across the road and a speeding truck hit my waist. I was sent flying across the road with blood pouring out of my head, waist and who knows elsewhere. And i knew i was dying so i wished for a more exiting life when i just stopped feeling anything everything just stopped.

I closed my eyes and when i opened them once again my surroundings weren't that of people crowding me no but white. Pure white
'What the hell??'

'Nope not hell but

Each and everyone have their own strengths and weaknesses and each one of us deals with the situations as we can. In my case there have been many things in my path but I tend to just push them aside and keep walking with my head held high. My life from the start was always every interesting times were tough, as a Hispanic family there was never much money in the household. Both my parents are of Hispanic heritage, they came from families that worked in fields and in cloth factories just to make ends meet. Not much has changed since then, till this day my parents need to work from 8 am to 6pm just to make ends meet and sometimes that’s not even enough.…

In complete honesty, I have lived a privileged life. I am provided with diverse opportunities, ranging from being home-schooled to the Catholic school I currently attend. Everyone has their hardships, and I certainly had my own, all were shaping and forming me into who I am at this point. I can honestly say my particular perspective has been remarkably determined by Kent Bellows Mentorship Program. It forced me to realize the opportunities I have been granted, take my passions into consideration, and most importantly, it shaped my aspirations and made me work for them.…

Abstract: The Identical Twin Study seeks to identify genetic and environmental influences on the development of psychological traits. The value of the research was the ability to estimate the inheritability of certain traits, including academic ability, personality, interests, family and social relationships, & mental and physical health. Children who are orphaned, fostered, or adopted may have certain behavior or inheritable traits activated by certain environmental factors or adopted parents, but only within the limitations of their genes. Identical twins reared away from his or her co-twin seem to have about an equal chance of being similar to the co-twin in terms of personality, interests, and attitudes as one who has been reared with his or her co-twin. This leads to the conclusion that the similarities between twins are due to genes, not environment.…

I wasn’t born in a rich family but we had almost everything we needed. When I was in high school, my parents had to file a bankruptcy and we had to move to a studio which was a small room that has kitchen and bathroom in it. I had to share the room with my parents and my sister who was only 4 years younger than me. I didn’t even have money to pay school or for lunch. I had to get grant and help from school. I never had a pair of new shoes, cloth or a book. I had to wear a uniform that one of my friends’ brother used to wear. I didn’t even have a TV so I was alway left behind when my friends were talking about a TV show. But I never thought that I should ashamed of it. I asked to go out to a girl I liked. I never thought that I had to spend more money than my friends. A few years later we were out of debt.…

When I was in first grade, my father was deployed to Iraq. My whole world changed. We moved to Utah to live with my grandparents while my mother was pregnant. It took forever for my dad to return from war. I missed him so much, especially during the holidays. When my dad came back to the States, I thought that things would be better and that our family would be whole again. Two years later, my parents got divorced. My dad was suffering from PTSD and fell into addiction. I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression while my mother was trying her best to raise us on her own and earn her master's degree. I felt that my whole life was falling apart in front of me. These struggles have made me who I am. I have learned to be more compassionate towards…

To put it mildly, things did not go according to my expectations. In my own case, I grew up with serious privilege, so a large part of my financial insecurity is of my own making; at the same time, my recovery has exposed me to a diversity of class and ethnic experiences, which have contributed to my awareness of how difficult self-sufficiency, let alone class mobility is for most people in my human network today. Consequently, I am much more cynical about the “rags to riches” story of America than the majority of others in my upper-middle class bracket. According to…

Twins are one of the only ways to study such notion as nature vs. nurture because they naturally become a control group. Many have argued that while it is one of the best ways to study this phenomenon it might be unethical to twins who participate since it could be considered an invasion of privacy of both individual. While nature vs. nurture is a big study that twins can relate to, there are also other aspects and questions that scientists and psychologists are interested to know about twins. Some of the questions people are interested to know about twins are how and what causes the egg to split, how are identical twins different from non-identical, and how are twins different when they grow up or if they are separated, which again…

As twins, we have many similarities in our appearances. My sister and I both normal size, and have the same height. Furthermore, we both have brown hair, brown eyes, and same face structure. Our round faces are almost identical. We also wear the same sizes in clothes because of our same figure. Our tiny hands and chubby feet look exactly alike. Moreover, our styles of fashion are also similar, including baggy t-shirts, shorts, and flip flops. This similar appearance was a problem growing up, because we would steal each others’ clothes. But we use our same style in fashion to our advantage; we both always have each other to go shopping with. When the two of us are talking our voices come out sounding the same. People are sometimes confused on what twin is talking. If the both of us had our backs turned to you there would be no way in telling which one was who. One main thing we share together is each other friendship. I can go to my sister with anything. She is my best friend. She also feels the same about our friendship.…
