Starting with the set for this show was something new to me because I had never seen or worked with/on a set that was a one unit set and didn’t move and nothing happened to it at all. I liked how it was all black so that way it didn’t really determine one certain setting, but that it was used for different settings such as the outdoors, indoors and a bedroom. This set is also the first set that I have seen that had used metal in the set. I liked the metal look of it instead of just all wood, I don’t know why but it just gave it that look of something different and made it stand out to me. Another aspect of it that I liked was it skeleton look, because I could see when and where certain characters were hiding, and that you could always see when a certain character was entering and exiting.
Another aspect that I wasn’t used to was this sound design for the show. Because the only sound aspect there was in the show was the microphones on the actors. I have never been to or been a part of a production that had no pre-show, intermission and post-show music. For this production I liked how there really wasn’t any music at all throughout the whole production. Because it is a show that has a tragic ending and I believe that with no music it just has this emptiness in the room that makes
