Overnight Sensation Character Analysis
The cameras are on you, and the fans are watching your every move. Welcome to the life of Hollywood superstar comedian, Abby Grant in the book Overnight Sensation by Joan Lowery Nixon. You might think that Abby and I are completely different, but we share similar characteristics. First of all, Abby has a theory that states “Laugh to keep from crying”. I can’t go an hour without smiling. I hate being sad, so I try to look at the positives. Like when Abby’s brother’s new job didn’t work out, she didn’t just sit in misery and depression, she gave him money to get right back up and try again. Secondly, Abby loves to help others. She goes over seas to fighting soldiers to make them laugh. I enjoy volunteering for Noah’s Hope and show love to animals
