Introduction
• In this presentation I am going to be looing at the different needs that inbound and domestic visitors will have when they visit the UK as a travel destination. I will look at specific examples for both domestic and inbound visitors Inbound visitors to UK Destinations
Inbound tourism is when people enter a country from their own country or another country which is not their home. For example a British Citizen living in the UK goes to Paris on a business trip
Other examples could be a family traveling from UK (as this is where they live/ are from) to Germany.
Domestic visitors to UK Destinations
Domestic tourism is when a residents from the
UK, travels within the UK. For example if a
British citizen travels from York to the Lake district. Other examples include a family traveling from
Bristol to London to see the London Eye and the national science museum.
2 Inbound Visitor’s to UK destinations
• You should select two inbound visitors of two different nationalities and two differing motivations. You could choose, for example, a couple from Japan who wish to visit all the capital cities of the UK and a group of students from
France who are attending a sporting event.
