It is well known that a parent with a drug or alcohol problem can have a negative effect on their family members. We see it all the time now on TV and Movies. It is not easy to live with a person whose drinking is causing problems. They are very angry with their current life, and often blame others when things go wrong. This can lead to tears in the family, forcing certain family member to move away or neglect the others.
