METHODS
This chapter presents primary information and methods about the data used in this study. It contains the research design, locale, participants, procedure and instruments which aids the source of investigation.
Research Design
The scheme used in this study is the descriptive method. This design is applied by collecting information that will demonstrate relationships and describe the variables used in the study. In this design, a group of participants will take the survey method that will assess their own view about Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) Technology.
Research Locale This study will be conducted in the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) Bo. Obrero, Davao City. Research Participants In this scrutiny, thirty randomly selected engineering students (S.Y. 2012-2013) will serve as the respondents of this study.
Research Procedure The steps undertaken in this study were as follows:
1. Requesting Permission to Conduct the Study.
The researchers formulated a survey questionnaire as a medium to answer the questions provided by the statement of the problem. To secure the credibility of the survey questionnaires, the questionnaires have been validated by Mr. Carlo Edroso as the researchers’ adviser.
After the validation of the survey questionnaires to Mr. Edroso, the researchers asked permission from Dr. Lyndon Rosello Roble, Dean of the College of Engineering to conduct the survey. The approval of Dr. Roble and the validation of Mr. Edroso led the researchers in conducting the survey.
2. Administration of the Questionnaires The researchers counted the number of respondents to make sure the exact number of students. Particular answers were discussed on how to answer the following questions. 3. Tallying and Analyzing the Collected Data.
The answers were tallied according to the responses of the participants in accordance to the questions given. The tallied data were then analyzed through a graph that provides the
