My interest in Applegrove Community Complete (Parent/Child Program Worker) Toronto was initiated by an advert I saw online Indeed. I did not design the lunch menu for my center; however, I serve it to my children on a daily basis. We use the CRMC food service, which has many benefits. One positive aspect is that there is no extra cost to the center, and enough food is delivered daily so that each child is served the appropriate proportions. My center works with the hospital to create a “short cycle menu,” a menu that is different everyday and repeats itself after a certain number of days, specifically a one-week cycle menu that is chosen by our director with faculty input. This cycle menu shows strengths because the children seem to enjoy a shorter cycle of fewer foods, and our director is able to control the menu to ensure that quality foods are served. The food served each day includes the food groups required for a balanced diet with whole milk. None of the meals contain potential choking hazards and all food is cut with food scissors for my age group. Each month, our center updates our allergy alert sheet, which is posted in every classroom. The staff complies to each child’s needs everyday at lunch and snack. I would not change my centers lunch menu because it promotes a healthy diet, meets their nutritional needs, and the children like it.…

If I were given the opportunity to become a DFPS Statewide Intake Worker, my greatest challenge would be ensuring that the children and adults in the home are receiving the appropriate love and attention that they need from their caregivers. As a family oriented individual, I believe that success begins in the home. My goal as a DFPS worker would be to help ensure that the people in need and their family can be successful, even in the most difficult situations. By successful, I am referring to the family receiving the support and resources they need from the community.…

I finally got that position as a program manager with SWFAS (Southwest Florida Addiction Services) that I had a lot of interest in. The program that they offer to clients is one that I am very interested in. The program offers help to all people who have chemical substance addictions. The organization conducted a needs and problem assessment and found that the need to open a new program for people who are addicted to prescription medications. We are putting into effect a theory to apply a practice to help the program. The inputs that we are using to establish intervention to our clients is one that will be monitored closely. Our outputs are that we are going to provide counseling to people that struggle with prescription drug abuse and give them the necessary tools for treatment. We will establish evaluative research to the program and measure it on the success that our clients have. We will use descriptive research on the part of the program that has success and see which parts work the best. The purpose of evaluation on the program is to enhance all of the parts of the program that are working for us. We are using service delivery model to turn our inputs into outputs for our program. And then we will evaluate the outcome by seeing how much our program is actually helping our clients with their addiction to prescription drugs. I just want to say thank you for letting me know about this position. You really helped me out a…
