ANIMAL PROTECTION AND PREVENTION CONTROL
MISSION
The Animal Protection and Prevention Control (APPC) mission is to reduce animal suffering in the world and advocate humane behavior through providing rescue, rehabilitation, and sanctuary to abandoned, neglected, and abused animals; including but not limited to livestock, equine, felines, and canines.
SCOPE OF OUR ORGANIZATION * This proposal is to fund emergency rescue, rehabilitation, and sanctuary efforts.
* The APPC is intended to serve as an animal sanctuary and is a non-profit organization.
* The APPC will be an animal shelter and rescue organization to create a “no kill” zone. This means the APPC does not euthanize healthy animals to control population. The APPC will advocate humane spay/neuter (S/N) programs for population control and reduce cruelty that arises from over population of stray dogs and cats. The APPC will provide educational material as well as S/N services. The APPC will S/N all adult dogs and cats in our care. For puppies and kittens adopted before the appropriate age, the APPC will take a deposit for S/N which we refund upon veterinary certification. * Rehabilitation services include emergency medical care, such as gun wounds, abuse injuries, car strikes, and cancer. Other services include medicine for chronic conditions, quality food and nutritional supplements to rebuild health, and overcome conditions of malnutrition and starvation.
* When our animals are fully recovered, healthy, and free of behavioral problems, the APPC will place them into our adoption network for the purpose of joining new families. The APPC will supplement this effort through a network of foster homes. Adopters are required to sign a humane treatment agreement. The APPC reserve the rights to take back the animal if adopters do not uphold the agreement.
* The APPC will provide permanent sanctuary to animals that are
