As a parent, I see myself doing and saying the same things to my children my parents said to me, and only being able to pay my bills, and nothing else. I always said things would be different …show more content…
to Cheyenne, WY., and was not getting paid enough to give my girls a good life, and get them in a stable home. I felt stuck, and needing help. I found Jesus, and an amazing husband that supports all that I do, and vise versa. Together we were able to buy a home but still live pay check to pay check.
I intend on putting my study skills, drive that I had as I attended IBMC, to this time around of school, knowing that I know have God on my side, a great husband, and an amazing Spirit driven school. Being able to speak freely about my faith, while getting a degree is an amazing feeling. I do have two more children, but do also have help raising them. I know that things will be tough, and my time will be spread thin, as well as sleep will be cut short, but in the long run, this will be more than worth it, because I will break all those generational curses, and be able to give m children more that I ever dreamed.
My drive for being here at CCU is my children, and husband, and my strength is from my Jesus. I know that he will give me all the strength, and knowledge that I need to make it though this, to be successful like he wants me to be. By following my dreams and Gods calling. I pray that me going back to school shows my kids to never give up, and to never settle, as God wants more for
