1) Creating a new position between the CEO and the location manager would help the business to grow many ways. First it would allow Dalman and Lei to focus on the greater goal of the company, and leave the researching of franchising or opening up more company owned shops to the potential position. This position could take away a lot of the stress that the two feel as business owners, he or she could handle a lot of the necessary tasks, and then give Dalman and Lei a monthly briefing, allowing them to still be a part of the decision making process, but without all of the added stress.…
For my Unit 10 : Discussion posting, I have chosen to use the country "Mexico". A business group from this country has offered to purchase a franchise of Sandwich Blitz. Although both Dalman and Lei are overly excited about this idea, they must both learn about "Mexico's" cultural norms, business and meeting practices, and its values. As I understand that a meeting has been arranged for Dalman, Lei, and three representatives from the business group, to discuss the idea of "Mexico" purchasing a franchise of Sandwich Blitz. With this being a very important meeting, and it involving networking with individuals who will influence the outcome of this transit to expand the business of Sandwich Blitz, Dalman and Lei should both begin reading, reviewing, and learning…
Creating a new position between the CEO and the location managers will help the business to grow because this newly created role will help to clear up time for Dalman to focus on the other aspects of his position. Since he is spending so much time on talking with location managers, other portions of Sandwich Blitz, Inc. could be suffering from it. Not only that, but adding in the factor that he is just one person makes is clear that a new level in management would help with growing the other managers into the best managers possible. Promoting an existing manger is a good option to fill this position as they are already very familiar with the organization. With the added benefit of having the experience of working in the role as manager to give them a better understanding and insight into what issues and problems can be found within a location.…
As part of this unit seven seminar I am to explain the differences between traditional and team environments. Traditional environment the manager plan and assigns all work, while also determining the job that is needed done. Almost all information is for management use only, while the limited knowledge of jobs is defined. Cross training is unproductive and training for non management is mainly to cover technical issues. All employees work alone, while risk taking is punishable by standard operating procedures. As a part of traditional environments all rewarding of employees are based on individual performances. Also the managers decide on what is the best work ethics and guidelines for employees to follow.…
After analyzing the hoax “Cheeseburger Oreos” from the Museum of Hoaxes, I am going to describe certain key elements. These key elements include that the hoax/fake involve a pair of guys eating weird combinations of food such as cheeseburger with Oreo, and that they were creating a specific flavor because there is no such flavor. Also, that they are acting like it is an awesome and delicious flavor, which everyone may like it.…
In The Butter Battle Book, Seuss puts his satirical talents on full display. He transforms the cause of the senseless war into a trivial conflict over toast, putting a more comical twist on things. The battle is between two different races or cultures, known as the Yooks and the Zooks, who do not realize that they happen to be more alike than different, because they live on opposite sides of a long wall. The Yooks like to eat their bread with the butter-side up, while the Zooks like to eat their bread with the butter-side down. Both sides compete against each other to make bigger and better weapons until both sides invent a destructive bomb, known as the "Bitsy Big- Boy Boomeroo,” and if either side uses it, it will kill both sides. Much like The Lorax, there is no happy ending or resolution in this book. As the story comes to an end, the generals on both sides of the wall are poised to drop their bombs. It is hard for even some of the younger readers to miss Seuss's main point here.…
In Chapter 3, Lipton explains his ideas the membrane, the “magical membrane” as he calls it, and how it controls the life of cells. He described membranes as being an intelligible life, comparing it to a sandwich made up of bread, a large hunk of butter, and both seedless and seeded olives, something you don’t find on the Subway menu. He shares about the proteins of the membranes, how they connect to the “mem-brain”, how the membranes react to their environment, and how people receiving diseases has less to do with our cells and more to do with how we run our lives.…
7) Open the jars of peanut butter and jelly. To open, hold the jar firmly with your left hand and the cap with the other…unless you are a lefty. Turn the object you are carrying with your left hand clockwise and the object in your right hand counter- clockwise until it becomes loose enough to remove. Now remove the lid and place it on the table along with the jar near the pieces of bread…softly. Repeat this process with the other jar.…

Jelly cake is a homemade recipe that unlike “crema de fruta”, it is unpopular in the dessert list of Filipinos. Jelly cakes are delicious, fun to eat cakes and people will enjoy choosing flavors that are close…
