The clerkship director wants to integrate technology into the third year pediatric course to improve access to learning experiences and resources lacking with the geographic distance of medical students. Reluctant faculty can be reassured by familiarizing faculty with the new technology and providing training if a needs gap is identified. This approach will ensure consistency with design implementation and increase the value faculty perceive of the new technology (Ben-Zadok et al., 2005).
What is your team’s perception for the success or failure rate of the project at State Medical University? The(soon to be team’s once we combine everything) perception for the success or failure rate of the project is that if the attitudes of the primary project leaders do not change the attitudes of faculty will not change and the program will not achieve the desired goals of integrating technology or problem based learning approaches into the course.
The suggested changes to the design including closer collaboration between the project leaders and addressing technology improvements to the current design will increase the likelihood that the project will be successful.
