Education is the greatest gift you may give to a person. This can be the key to achieve the dreams of every student to help their families and themselves. On the other hand, there are youths who are deprived of the right to be educated and deprived to become part of productive citizens of a community; they are called the “uneducated youths”.
Nowadays, every community are facing a lot of problems one of these is poverty, which is the main reason of the increase in the percentage of uneducated youth in a community. It extremely affects the right of every youth to be educated in a formal school. The Researchers aims to get the total percentage of the uneducated youth and to help give solutions on how to reduce the number of uneducated youth in a certain community.
The researchers need to find out the reasons and factors that affect the percentage of uneducated youth in a certain community that may also affect the whole population of these youths. With this kind of problem, the researchers need to investigate certain data pertaining to illiteracy that can lead us in making a hypothesis and questions to be answered by the respondents for us to come up with valid results. The Researchers need this investigation to find out the reasons why there are uneducated youths. Is it really affecting the community? Do barangay officials give answers or solutions about this problem? These are some of the questions needed to find out and to be investigated by the researchers to accomplish their aim on the possible solutions they may offer to solve the complications.
The research will be held in a community where there are a high percentage of uneducated youths. Specifically, in the Barangay Mauway in Mandaluyong City which is a low-end city and most often called the place of “informal settlers”.
