Some reasons that doping and PEDs should be legalized, is that “it has become a necessity” (Performance enhancing drugs should be legalized, Wang, 2015). Athletes also say that it is a good way to extremely boost athletic performance, and it is a low-key way to basically cheat at what sport you play. “Additionally testing for PEDs is exceedingly difficult for governing bodies, as drug makers are developing undetectable substances.” Wang states. The Third reason that PEDs should be legalized, is that “PEDs if legalized, would extremly reduce health risks, deter criminal activity, and make more effective use of criminal resources.” Wang
