Persephone: A Fictional Narrative
“Aren’t you excited guys!” Celia exclaimed as they pulled up to the woods. Now your our’s forever” then laughter filled the air. Alicia hoped more than anything they would leave Persephone alone. The hands dragged Alicia back to the house and stitched up her mouth. “Persephone, my sister, is safe” was the only thought that keeps Alicia alive in the life sentence given by a girl who just wanted to see her sister, one last

After I woke up, I immediately opened a text file and linked all my hunches together. Fish, the afterlife, buying things, an adventure. The Greek myth of Charon, the ferryman who transports souls across a river (for a price) to their fate, came to mind. But where did the fish factor in? Fish often live in fountains that strangers throw coins into. These coins and Charon’s fee immediately gave me the idea Persephone would have in this story. All I needed was a reason why the fish would have to bring coins over, which was obvious when I thought about how many societies no longer give the ferryman’s fee to their dead.…

Due to such a concept, Barth disconnects myths from the idea of Jungian concept of "archetype" .moreover, he glorifies them to such an over extend that the modern writers" revealing of the preconscious psyche "failed their positive approach, becoming the perfectly irrelevant idea. He accomplishes this effect by dismantling his mythological character. In this regard, exclusively Bellerophon collapses prey to Barth's argument with modernism. In Chimera's last part, its Bellerophoniad, it arises that not only is the central character a failure, a discontented imitation of a hero, but mostly, he does not obtain all. As a matter of fact, he spins to be the articulation of his brother, Pleiades. He is killed by Bellerophon and he has actually experienced…
