all high school theatre troupes in the state of Georgia. I was assigned the role of Dance Captain in my Sophomore year, a role usually reserved for Juniors and Seniors. I am a dedicated and trustworthy member of GHS Thespian Troupe 2445 where I also hold the position of Media Representative. I manage all social media for the troupe. The GHS theatre program is a renowned and highly respected program recognized statewide as well as nationally. It has been my honor to be a member and leader in this prestigious program. I take my duties and responsibilities seriously, for it has been a great source of joy as well as learning. My director Mrs. Pamela Ware has instilled in me the importance of dedication to excellence, hard work and perseverance. The program is not easy by any means. The countless hours of rehearsals have taught me greatness can be achieved, but it is almost always a team effort. I am only as strong as the weakest link on the team, so in order for the team to win it is my responsibility to lift up and encourage everyone around me to be the best we can be. I have spent many extra hours outside of scheduled rehearsal time to teach choreography or work on character development with troupe members who may have had difficulties. Going above and beyond does not make a leader great, it should be expected in order for that leader to be respected. In my leadership role, I believe I have earned the respect of my director and my peers.
