Personal Essay - The word "Personal" clearly states that this type of writing reflects personal views, opinions, observations, choice of words, arguments and analytics. A good personal essay is meant to concise and should be focused on the topic. This is done through proper definition, comparison and contrast, examples, analytics of cause and effect etc. To write a good Personal Essay one must strive for richness of the content. A reader is more interested when the essay offers an array of diverse yet informative facts and not just a long list of accumulated facts. It should also reflect the confidence of the writer regarding the topic and must not sound like he/she is begging or bragging. Lastly, a strong conclusion must be present to leave a lasting impression on the reader's mind.
Research Paper - A research paper is a combination of various activities other than just writing it. If those are done correctly then there is a good chance that the writing part will be flawless. I believe the reason behind it is because you are spending so much time in doing those other activities, it gives you a clear and concise idea of the topic and most importantly, the confidence to write the paper. The other activities which I keep mentioning about are, choosing a topic, the actual research process on the topic, critical thinking, source evaluation and organization. When it comes to the composition part, it should be free from ambiguity and must have clarity. Coherence is another aspect that must be maintained throughout so there is flow to the process. The reader must not feel clueless in the middle of process. In the end the writer should restate the thesis and summarize the main points of evidence for the reader.

I believe the writing process is very complex but simple. The steps to the research process simple to follow, but complex at executing. I believe, that you have to find credible sources to retain information about your topic. Someone cannot simply just Google everything, and believe that all of the information is credible. The researcher has to check out books, and other resources to get the best information about their topic. After gathering information, the researcher has to present it in a way that their audience could understand.…

The key topic I have learned that plays a huge role in the writing process is confidence. When writers are confident about their piece and they really love the way it has turned out, then it shows through the entire paper. I always tell my dance students that if they show the audience how much they love dancing, then more people will want to watch them. And I think the same goes for…

The thought of writing my paper is daunting; I never fully understand the task at hand. Everyone seems to understand writing better than me, and they seem to have the time to write. For me it is a tedious, pain staking process that last for endless hours and seems to never be as exquisite as I once imagined it to be. The writing process seems to be a straight forward list for everyone to follow but it is really just an idea of what it could be in a perfect, simple world. There are no two exact people; therefore, there are no two exact same writing processes. This process can come natural to some, but for most of us it is a pain staking process that takes several years to even come close to perfection. The writing process is an irritating way to write and because of this it is hard for me to find an exact, never changing writing process.…
