Finally,

Another time Tim Simms told Joyce Mihalich and I to leave a tear down work order for Joy on Daylight. Saying she could get off her F--king lazy fat ass. Mark Greenwalt agreed with Tim, The next day asked if we tearing down Athletic event. Yet, Joy Wisneski and I did most Athletic set ups ourselves. Last summer my family and I saw niagara falls, we put on yellow raincoats and rode on a tour boat, maid of the mist , up the river below the falls. As the water thundered around them, the guide told them that Anna Taylor a daring schoolteacher was the first person to ever ride over Niagara Falls in a barrel. My stomach turned upside down as I imagined her plummeting over the edge. Then I thought of our own teacher going over the falls in a barrel, I laughed out…
Monday- I am ready to stat week 4!! I like being in the office but I prefer being in the back. It entirely too much drama going on in here today. The woman training me is really on her last strike and she just seems to be getting on everyone nerves (including mines). I look forward to a better tomorrow.…
“And on your left you’ll see one of the tallest waterfalls in the world” the train conductor announced. Everyone shuffled for their camera to capture the moment. As the scene came into view the cog train was filled with the sound of a disappointed gasp, followed by glances to the vested instructor that read ‘are you kidding me’. The “waterfall” looked more like a miniscule stream than a massive landmark he told us it would be. Because we were near the top of Pike’s Peak, he wasn’t completely wrong. We were expecting something the size of Niagara Falls.…
Doing the dishes and vacuuming the house are simple everyday chores, but adult tasks are like stepping into a whole different world. I have had some experiences stepping up into the adult world, and it was not easy.…
The trail continued around the east side of the lake entering a gathering of trees forming an insignificant forest along the lake’s shoreline. From our viewpoint, the trees concealing the trail eventually dispersed on the southeast side of the lake, and the trail blended into the landscape. Using our imagination, we envisioned the route against the rugged terrain sloping into the lake. No point in taking a vote now, we had trekked to the lake and the consensus was to proceed with a lap around the lake.…
Amicalola Falls is so nice. It sounds looks like my heart is jumping. I don’t think that I…
Everyone has their own community or organization for which they belong to. Within that community you tend to find who you are and what you are about. For me I found my identity in being an outdoors man. Being an outdoors man at my young age seems to be rare at this day, but that doesn’t prevent me from doing something I love and appreciate. Growing up with my family full of avid outdoors men helped influence me and only made my identity stronger.…

Something I wanted to do this summer was sleep more. If I would have slept more I would’ve been happier. I also wish I could have spent the night at my aunts and uncles house more. I wish I could’ve tanned more also. I wish I could’ve played, hiked and swam more.…
One Saturday morning, I crawled out of bed and went downstairs to have breakfast. I looked out the window and saw a fresh blanket of snow which meant that it was a perfect day for snowboarding! About an hour later my brother, Jacob also came down and ate his breakfast.…
My mother, “Regina Hopkins,” has been a positive influence in my life. She has raised 6 kids all by herself as well as earned a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a City College in Gainesville, Florida. My mother has been through pretty much everything a person can go through outside of war and was still able to be there and provide for all 6 of her kids. In high school, my mother wanted to play football and couldn't because she was a girl and back-in-the-day women were not allowed to play football with the guys. However, she remained strong by raising 6 kids and independently took care of all of us on her own. My mother has several qualities that I would love to develop. The first quality she has is balance; she certainly knows how to make…
Today was the day. The big day. My election for Lieutenant Governor of Division 2B for Key Club, an international service club, was today. Fear and anxiety pricked my skin in rapid movements emanating from every pore. I rehearsed my speech for the fifth time that day. Upon arrival at the Fairfax Library, I urged myself to remain calm. I quickly scouted out the other girls who were present; one girl was dressed professionally with a folder in her hand. I knew that was my competition. The girl spoke eloquently and genially, she radiated enthusiasm and a certain warmth that I did not have. With every question that was asked, she answered with a smooth smile and high-pitched tone that was dripping with sincerity. I bristled inside; I had just been slapped. I was shrouded in a cloud of anxiety and anxiousness. Suddenly, I was dragged from my reverie.…
As Hannah knows, I had to take my car in for some unexpected repairs today so am a little short on money at the moment.…
