Personal Narrative: A Place Of Diversity

The sound of the crashing waves, the heat of the suns' rays, and the warmth of my family surrounded me. I was in California, and I was home. California is a place of diversity; one finds themselves with the opportunity of pursing who and what they want to do with their lives. Family is close, vacation is even closer, and home is near. Walking down the steps of a long, four hour flight, I was more than thrilled to step into the world of dreams. The west coast state brings: attraction, love, and a life full of happiness. In other words, it's a gift called life.

is where I want to be. I cherish the concept of having the ability to grow with the family I have in this vast and beautiful location. As a person of warmth having the ability to experience what not only life can bring me but as well what California can offer is a positive factor. I continue to love the concept of having my loved ones or few family members close in this admirable state. In other words my inner soul and heart tends to be in a different state of mind when I visit California. I visualize myself in a whole different place once I walk into the streets of Los Angeles, California. I feel happy and secure, and the concept of having family with me makes the idea even more fascinating.
Santa Monica Beach, Hollywood, or even the Griffith Observatory, these are a few attractions that the home of the Dodgers, or, in other words, California brings to the world. California is home, a warm place near to my heart. Each frequent visit I continue to remember the smell of the hot, sizzling bacon wrapped hot dogs in downtown Los Angeles, the sound of the loud flapping yells of the seagulls on the beach, or the sun shining bright and early through the tall, beautiful palm trees. Though many may say this huge, overly populated state is highly expensive and not fit for living, many won't state the positive factors it can bring to individuals. Not only does it bring savory, breath taking food, lovely, captivating sunsets and beaches, or warm weather 365 days a year, California brings life, the love, and the excitement of what life really is.
The hot, boiling weather and the diversity of people, were simply an attraction to my eyes.
However there are many aspects that attracts my eyes, one specifically caught my attention; in other words the diversity that California has to offer. The diversity among the people is a widespread and unique one. Tourists visiting San Diego or Hollywood, seem to encounter individuals who carry their own characteristics. One will find people singing or dancing at a beach at 12 in the morning, taco trucks and the many variety of foods selling until the sun rises the next day, or even donut shops, and 24 hour subways found around the corner of occupied roaring streets. Whether it's having a stable home, visiting, or just planning a vacation, California will always remain in my heart and mind. The state has been a place dearly close since I visited my family two years ago. As I rushed out the door of the Delta airplane, my eyes and heart fell in love with the west coast. I don' t recently visit, but when I do, it's a place to call
home.
