later result in a lot of health problems. After the war my grandfather was emotional and physically scarred. A couple of years after he got back he met my grandma who was recently divorced with two kids. They met and fell in love and it was great they were my models of how a relationship should be growing up.
My grandfather would often have horrible flashbacks of Vietnam where he would wake up screaming. It got to the point that my grandparents had to sleep in separate rooms because he would get violent. One night he threw there Yorkshire terrier across the room in his sleep. His health wasn’t very great in the last few years the agent orange really taking a toll on his body. It was causing his kidneys to shut down and he was soon put on dialysis. They later moved out to Colorado and I lost track of them. My grandma in 2009 died of a brain aneurysm and 3 years later my grandpa followed. I would like to think that they are up there having a great time and watching over me.
