That was my father’s faithful advice before the grandiose moment with cling power lasting well past ten years. So, as a respectful young lady, I did just that. Like a snowplow in the middle of an early winder blizzard, I plowed straight through the foyer, right past the kitchen, and smack into the door. The door? When did this get here?
Well, it turns out there was an obstacle between my sweet tooth’s dream and myself, an undetectable screen door… now of the floor. One big crash and fifty puzzled faces as that mess of metal and mesh high fived the floor and exposed my beat red face. Of course I was beyond embarrassed, this is not my kind of attention.
