I was devistated all I have to do is score a touchdown to win and go to the playoffs as nathan hike the ball I ran as fast as I can to the touchdown. It was a big day for me, I woke up, changed with lots of excitment I ran so fast to my kitchen that it felt like I was flying. As I ran down stairs I tripped over a step and I almost fell but instently tried to slide instead. As I walk in the kitchen my mom and dad were there with food "mom, dad can I have some" yes" they replied. I got food and in the next room I fined my sisters watching tv, their names were yaneli and prisclla, as I ate with them we all left to go to my game.

It was almost time we have to play are game it was 1 hour short till game time we have check in and was practicing are game if we won we win go to the playoffs.Including to my football team if we win we will be the first to play in the playoffs. We knew the team we have to play and they are the best team in the league the "Redlands Pride".Are coach gave out a good speech for us he said "we played so hard over the season, yeah we had ups and downs but we have a chance we can win only if you play like it so go out there and let's win this game." we prayed latar on and I was captain for the team.As we did the coin toss we won it and said to kick it.

It was a Saturday morning, but it was no regular Saturday morning. It was football Saturday morning my dad was driving me to my football game. We got there and it was freezing. It was 46 degrees Fahrenheit and we started to do warm-ups and 20 minutes later the refs called us over. We put our helmets on the 50 and walked out to the middle of the field and we elect to differ. They get the ball and we kick off they drop the ball and they recover it. They are down right there they ran a reverse and score a TD. We get the ball and they motion me to the left side and ran a 27 pitch we score a TD “wooohooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Then we smash them on defense. then we get the ball back Tate runs a 17 run and scores a TD “yaaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”…

After the third and fourth quarter we ended the game 44-6 with 36 points scored by me. Third quarter 12 points were made by me, and fourth quarter one 3 point shot was scored by me. After the game was over we went and got ice cream for the whole team. We all chose our favorite ice cream then devoured our ice creams as a team. After the ice cream we made a promise to each other that we weren’t going to lose a game at all this season, and we all went home and I will always remember this basketball game and how good of a team we were. This is my story, what is…

It was a really hot day. The scorching sun in the sky made it almost impossible to play. When we all got out the truck, we went to the field that we were supposed to play on. There was a game on the field. This meant that we got here early. Of course, most people would use that extra time to warm up. But for me, it was completely different. I sat on the bleachers. I was thinking deeply on my moves in order to bypass the defense. BEEP!!!!! The referee has blown the whistle to end the current game. The whistle snapped me out of what I was thinking. It was our turn to…

Eighth grade year, gym class, flag football. I remember this day like it was yesterday. I had a fuming hatred for the gym teachers and their actions toward these pre-pubescent kids who take everything a little too personally, but with these rude teachers each and every reaction from each and every kid was appropriate. The only way I could describe these teachers is 40 year olds who find joy in making 13 year olds miserable. So, it all began when the flag football unit started. I wasn’t afraid of the evil humans we called gym teachers; I spoke my mind. Football was usually the last unit every year and every year the girls had to relearn how to play football, while the boys got to go play outside right away without an ounce of review. Because I am me, this wasn’t going to fly.…

It was a Saturday and we were playing Van Wert in a regular season basketball game and it was close. It was a Junior varsity game. We were only playing two quarters due to the lack of numbers. The game didn’t count for much but we were giving it our all. Van Wert wasn’t a favorite of ours and we were doing just about anything just to win. The game was intense. The coaches were yelling. The crowd was cheering. The gym exploded with sound coming from all directions. We were equally matched. We trailed for most of the game but we were always very close. As the game was winding down, we were trailing by just a few points. We had the ball. The ball was stolen and we were all sprinting down the court to stop it. I got a hand on the ball from behind…

It all started at ninth street with some friends of mine John and I started recruiting some people to come play football with us. I honestly didn’t know I had a pretty decent arm. I originally was going to start practicing to play wide receiver instead of quarterback. At the time Odell Beckham Jr. ( wide receiver for the New York Giants ) was extremely explosive and dynamic on offense. Seeing him blow up on offense made me want to try out for wide receiver. But somehow John convinced me to play quarterback.…

It was the day that most freshmen dread, cuts day. There were many of us trying out for the JV baseball team- more people than there were positions. I could see it, I would be starting catcher on the JV baseball team. I had made it passed the first two weeks of tryouts and I was so confident that I was going to make it. That was, until on that last day of tryouts when the two coaches pulled me out of a drill and told me they wanted to talk to me.…

When we were children, our mothers and fathers would take care of us, whatever we needed they found a way to get it. They were out support beams, our shoulders to cry on, and our correction officers when we were in the wrong. They were also the ones we ran to when we had our scars and bumps. We knew that they would give us the right things to make us feel better. When we get older we begin to make more risky decisions, and sometimes those become bad decisions, possibly ending in injury.…

Today I begin playing at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Center at 9 A.M. against a team from out west. I am so nervous on the drive over to the ESPN Center. My mom gives me a really sweet and inspiring pep talk. The car seems to be moving at the speed of light, and it feeld like we have arrived at the Disney-owned park in the blink of an eye. Then I get out of the big green Ford Expedition by myself and head up to the fieldhouse to go play. We mowed through the first team with scores of 25-10 and 25-12. We have a one-game break, so in between the games I am constantly moving, seeing as how I can not stand still because of how…

Good Evening Mr. Forrest, this is Sean Anderson. I wanted to send this report involving the girl's basketball coach from Northeast Middle School. Me and Jason Collins were the officials at West Creek Middle School vs Northeast Middle School. The games started at 4:45. During the second game, which was the girl's basketball game, my partner Jason Collins made a ruling against Northeast in the 4th quarter. The girl's head coach did not like the ruling and venting her frustrations toward us. She screamed" her player was not there for the foul". While I was administering the free throws I heard her screaming and gave her the stop sign signal and told her ok that's enough. I didn't administer no technical foul even though she continue…

It was the longest first day of practice and I still had that weird feeling in my stomach and started to feel a little light headed. And that big muscular man had walked over to me and asked if i was okay and I had answered with a loud scream and he said good that's what I like to hear and if you have anything to tell me you can talk to me after or before practice. We began off throwing the ball back in forth to see which one of us had a good arm so we can have a good pitcher.and of course my arm was good but I couldn't throw in a straight line so he had put me in at 3rd base.Had our first game a couple of weeks later and we were going to play the cubs and I had saw that one of the coaches had come up to me and told me that we were going to be going up against a couple of good sized boys that play harder then others. And I really didn’t understand what he was telling me because I was half a wake so when the game day had came we did some type of cool dance before we had played and I was so hyped and we had won the coin toss so coach had decided to hit first and the half of the team had hit all the way to the outfield. When I had stepped up to home plate to hit the ball and missed the first two throws and I had splashed the third ball that me had thrown and went right over the second baseman's head and right into the outfielders glove and i had got so pissed of I throw the bat right at the fence and walked into the dugout and walked around in circles. We all had batted and I went…
