Personal Narrative Essay: The Value Of Community Service

This is Tammy Ngo, and I know that you are very busy and have a lot of things on your plate but I have been inquiring about my badge for the last one and a half week without result. I had tried to attend to this matter in a timely matter in order to reduce the trouble it might cause everyone. I do admit that it was initially my fault in losing the badge and missing my shift on 1/16 (the day after I lost my badge and found it missing). I had tried my best to reach you through emails and phone calls to the volunteer office when on 1/19, you told me that my badge would be ready for me in front of the office by Saturday; which was the day of my next shift. Since I was expecting my badge by my next shift, I did not reschedule any of my future shift on the assumption that the matter will be resolved. I was there Saturday morning to pick up my badge and attend my NICU shift, but discovered that it wasn't there. I drove home and emailed you again in hope that it was a misunderstanding and that I could attend another one of my shift on Tuesday the 26th. I once again drove to the hospital on 1/26 to see if the badge was there and once again I could not find it. I received an email back that night
When I entered this program, I know you have certain expectations you expect me to fulfill as a volunteer, and I have certain expectations for you to fulfill as the program coordinator. I was ready to face any consequence that came with losing my badge, but I also expect my badge to be there when you informed me it would be. I am at a lost end of what to do at this point since my next shift will be on Saturday 1/30, and the rest of my February schedule is packed. I do wish to continue on with this program, but this situation is spiraling out of hand. Please reply promptly. Thank
