And it’s true, one day I will wake up and truly epitomise a 50 something that everyone calls Kathy. But, unfortunately for people that think that is my name, today is not that day. For now, I’m going to stick with Katie. Further into the future, I see myself going by Kate and eventually Kathy. Then, when I’m old, wrinkly and in a retirement facility, the young nurses with probably call me Kathleen and I’ll be ornery, probably hit them with my cane and tell them it’s Kathy or Kate or maybe even Katie.
