Personal Narrative: Life Mistake
Life Mistake Opened my eyes to see what I have I done, what I have committed, and I faced the consequences. Blinded from my mind and the words from other people. I was so ignorant and I had so much pride, that I didn’t want any help. I thought I could handle it all to myself with no help, but I failed miserably. I got a deep scar penetrated deeply within me and it’s a scar that will always be with me to remind me to never repeat it. Mistakes stay with me and they can’t be taken away from me. There is one way and that’s to move away from it and learn from it. Describing it is really hard for me, it just wasn’t me at the time. I had no control over me at that time and I remember it clearly. I was so full of pride that I didn’t want anybody to tell me what was right from wrong. Me as a ignorant kid I was, I wanted to do everything myself and in my own way. If there was problems or anything that was wrong with me, no one was …show more content…
Charlie said stuff to me again to get closer to Beatriz and it happen. I found myself waking up so early in the morning without being tired just to sneak out and see this girl. I didn’t even think of it either, it just wasn’t me. Sin of fornication was written on me for four weeks. I remember sneaking out the window then running halfway across town just for a kiss. Finally I started regretting it and I was deciding to ask someone for help, but I knew no one was going to believe me. I decided to plan something to get Charlie and Beatriz in trouble followed by me getting in trouble. I decided to keep the sin of fornication for a little longer so that I can be caught. At first I didn’t see the plan being so successful, but it was worth a try to get Charlie and Beatriz in trouble. Two weeks pass and nothing happens and I decided for a third week. At the end of the third week we finally got. I was kind of happy, since I was in trouble

For about as long as I could remember, my wish has always been to fit in, and be well-liked by everyone. I began acting a certain way that wasn’t me, and even began to lose my identity. I followed all trends and began to lose more and more of my identity as time chipped away. This all stopped as soon as high school began. High school was such a disquieting transition along with all of the new changes I’d be facing. New classmates, teachers, subjects, and responsibilities. I was now required to think twice before every move and concentrate on everything more adequately. All these changes made me begin to realize that I should learn more about my identity and do what makes me tranquil and content as a person.…

My mother, sister, and I were driving down Highway 124 on a hot July day when my mom screamed and slammed on the breaks. Fear rushed through our bodies. Outside the car window, a short young African American man was launched into the air. As he came down, a loud boom sounded as his body helplessly rolled off the hood of the faint green Toyota Corolla in front of us. The man lay motionless in the road while we waited for what seemed like hours for the driver to exit the car. His red shirt and gym shorts were ripped. The driver of the opposing car threw the vehicle in reverse in a spasmodic action in an attempt to end the man’s life. The injured man made an effort to crawl onto the Wendy’s sidewalk, forcing his body up on the curb to evade the car. The driver drove up onto the curb and blew its tire, just barely missing the wounded man. Realizing the driver would stop at nothing, my mother drove her white suburban in front of the car, blocking the violent perpetrator from doing any further damage.…

“We all stray from time to time….and when you do, OWN IT! If you deny it….you are giving up control again.” This can teach a lesson to people struggling with drugs and alcohol. If you deny that you have a problem, you will continue to let these things control your life, but if you own up to it, you can help yourself or get help from others. The quote, from the “I don’t know the Bible…” paragraph, “‘Well done, my good and faithful servant,”’ reflects what I believe in and what I have learned. Growing up I heard many people tell me, “God first, others second, and yourself last.” First of all, these two quotes are telling me to live a faithful life by putting God first. Also, to put others before me and serve them just like Jesus did.…

Life is full of risks. And not all risks are predictable. The first and the biggest crisis in my life happened a few days after the fifteenth birthday. I was diagnosed with a kind of cancer and took a year off from middle school to have chemotherapy after surgery. Fortunately, I was on the mend after hospitalizing for the first three months, so I received the outpatient treatment after that. Now it was time to go back to school. However, I had a lot of different thoughts running through my mind. I no longer wanted to take my life for granted. Instead, I wanted to be stronger and challenge myself. So I decided to go on to high school in the abroad. I persuaded my parents for six months and they finally agreed to let me move to New York! It was…

“WHOA WHOA WHOA THIS IS BALONEY MAN!” that is something I say whenever I am frustrated. People have always told me sometimes the best way to learn something is through failure. People value things they have accomplished differently. Often the people whom are naturally adept at things do not realize how much of a struggle it can be for others. Many times when people have told me that if you are going to fall, fall forward. Do not let your insecurities, doubts, and pride get in the way of improving yourself. In brief, there can always be a way to improve yourself.…

A big event that has changed my life was when my older brother moved away to go to the navy. This changed my life cause I did not know if I was ever going to see him again. When he told me he was leaving and not going to be back for awhile i thought he was leaving because of me, I was a little brat back then so yeah and at the age i was i thought everything was my fault. The day my brother left was probably the saddest thing to ever happen because me and him would always hang out and play video games or walk around town or do something fun. I remember when we dropped him off at the airport i was clinched on to his leg and i was refusing to let go because I didn’t want him to leave. Now that i look back on it i think one of the reasons why i didn’t want him to leave is because he was kinda like my best friend/ role model so yeah and well he is my older brother and I didn’t want anything to happen to him.…

A time when I experienced extreme failure was when I was in my sophomore year of high school. When I started the year, I had the mindset of, “This is going to be easy. I’m not going to sweat it.” Reason being, in my freshman year, I passed all my classes easily and I thought the next school year would be the same. I was in for a rude awakening by then. It was my first year starting an AP class and I heard stories that it was going to be easy if one paid attention in class. As the first semester went, it was a struggle already. I had easily underestimated the workload and found myself barely passing with a C. I have the type of personality where I put a lot of pressure on myself and stress out easily; as one can imagine, I was very hard on myself.…

My parents were strict with us kids at home. I was adopted into my family with three older siblings. I felt I got the brunt of everything when it came to the rules of the house. All of us children had chores that had to be finished before we were allowed to play with our friends. If my parents found out I listened to anything other than the Christian radio station, my parents took my radio away. My parents dragged us to church three days a week. I felt as though I was supervised more than my other siblings were. My other siblings were allowed to stay out late and go places whenever they asked. I wanted to be able to have the same freedom my 17 year old brothers had, only at the age of 14. So, one night, my best friend and I decided to sneak out of the house. I would never forgot that night.…
