Personal Narrative: My Experience At Dimmick Grade School
It has been an amazing experience attending Dimmick Grade School. I have had the privilege to meet some very amazing people. These people have helped me grow and learn. Whether it be my fellow peers or my teachers, they have all taught me such wonderful things to carry on in life. I remember having a milk and rest time in Kindergarten. I thought that was pretty cool. I remember the great Halloweens. We had haunted houses and played games. We always got to walk around the gym in our costumes. I remember the Christmas shows that seemed to drag on forever. They were fun, but Mrs. Drag sure could get riled up.
There were many great field days. I loved the feild days because everyone throughout the whole school would get together and hang out. It didn’t matter if you were in seventh grade or in third grade, everyone got a chance to meet other kids that they usually didn’t see. The Olympic theme, the circus and carnival day was a blast, and the day we did field day at the YMCA and got to swim was so much fun. We played some really great, fun games that day. I think one of the great times in Dimmick was when we went to the Veteran’s home. It was so sad to see some of those older men that

You can get a great education and have music lesson, art instruction, healthy eating and physical education and still are able to participate and enjoy your favorite sports. It was wonderful to enjoy all these things. It is so exciting to be able to win in sports. I will remember how my Dimmick softball team won regionals, we were so overjoyed. I will also remember how my basketball and volleyball teams both won Prairie Conference. With all of the teams I have played on at this school, I could not have asked for better teammates. I think I can safely say that this class, this group of amazing students and friends and teammates were the best of the best. Together we won several championships in several different

Williams Elementary School is located just off of interstate 75 and home of the mighty Eagles. From the outside it has the appearance of a typical school with screaming students, rushing parents, and screeching buses. It is made out of boring brown bricks and beige stucco boarding near the top of the building. The inside features a prison-like setup, only with more vibrant colors. There is a double door leading into an office with multiple faculty and staff. In order to actually enter the school, you have to be buzzed in by the round and hyper man at the main desk. Once in the building, you will see that it is shaped like a large square with hallways extending from four sides. The hallways are full of colorful painting of eagles, laminated…

The sadness that comes with saying goodbye to the friends you have spent your whole life with when moving is never easy. Throughout my education, I have moved schools 3 times and every time it has been a struggle to acclimate socially, mentally and academically. I started at Diegueno Middle School in the middle of the seventh grade. This was now my second school in only the first half of my first year of middle school. Again I had to adapt to new people and a different course load. This school had a much higher standard of academia then my prior school and at first, I struggled. School felt alien to me. Time passed and I made new friends and I got used to the difficulty. I started high school with the same group of friends from middle school…

It was my first time at being at Lindley so I no friends. I was concerned why people were laughing. I had to ask the principle where my first class was. Lindley Middle School was seemed gigantic. When I finally got to my first class, I met so many new people like Kaniya and To’Keitha. I noticed that there was nothing to be scared of because everybody was very nice and welcoming. Kindergarden was one of my most favorite years. I had the nicest teacher, Mrs. Tocheck. She would always play games with us like hiding and seek in the dark. Kendrick and I would always hide together and Mrs. Tocheck would never find us until she said she gave up and we would come out of hiding. Every day we would have stations set up during free time. There would be a dollhouse, a painting area, and a toy area. I would always go and paint pumpkins in October and bring them home to decorate the house. One time Kendrick, Ethan, and I made a huge fish made out of about ten pages of…

I can remember that kindergarten was fun. I enjoyed story time the most. In our class we use to sit on the carpet in front of the class and my teacher would read us a story. We would also do exercise’s where my teacher would write words on the chalkboard and we would read them out loud. I enjoyed this exercise because I knew most of the words. Kindergarten was everything that my preschool teacher said it would be and I was happy.…

To start with, I have an enjoyable memory to tell you about. When I was ten years old, I was attending to elementary school in the States. In school, I have always waited for lunch time! In lunch time, me and my friends would always gather together and share each other's lunch. We shared our stories and had a great time. I remember that my lunch was always delicious. My nanny was a great sandwich maker and her sandwich was so good that I still miss it. After having delicious food, we usually played games like capture the flag, tetherball, and more. Playing with them was so fun! They were great friends of mine. I can never forget that cute memory I have.…
