Personal Narrative: My Field Trip To Smoky Mountains In Pigeon Forge
My class and I are going on a field trip to Smoky Mountains in Pigeon Forge on a bus contrived especially for kids. We got a sneak peak of the bus it has a lot of features.

On the bus there are 10 rows each. Each seat as TV,reclining seats, free food like,Mcdonald’s,Burger King, breakfast and more. The reclining seats are really relaxing and why you are relaxing you can watch anything you want.

The kids will like my bus because they could have any kind of food or drinks they want and can watch any kind of TV they want why you are watching TV you can be relaxing in your reclining seats. I can’t wait for tomorrow!

It's a terrific place for an adventure that involves the entire family. These are Ontario, Canada's larges natural caverns. There are plenty of side passages and areas to explore. Your family and friends can enjoy the picnic areas that are on site, which means you could spend the entire day at the Caves before being picked up by the charter bus. Along with explorable areas and places to have lunch, you can see fossils that are over 300 million years old. http://tyendinagacaves.blogspot.com/…

In 2008 I moved to Bluffton to help start a new aluminum remelt facility called Alexin. I was one of three invited to make the move from western Kentucky by the presidents of Alexin because of my knowledge of the industry, my reputation as a hard worker, and my positive attitude. In the past nine years a lot has changed. Even though I know longer work in the aluminum industry, I still pride myself on my knowledge, reputation, and attitude. The job has changed, but what it takes to be successfully in any occupation has not.…

*Change isto the world as aging is to humans, inevitable. As I look out of my window, I see all of the changes I could reverse, such as the loss of my favorite tree and the missing yard space where a pool now stands. As I look out of my window I could completely change the setting and move to my favorite place, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Although I could reverse all of these changes and ameliorate my life, these changes have made me who I am today, and they have given me my memories. Therefore, I would not reverse any of these changes.…

While many people would probably choose to travel to another country, a foreign universe, or something even more extraordinary, there is no place I would rather go than Pawnee, Indiana, despite the fact that it doesn’t really exist. Having been a fan of the television show Parks and Recreation for quite some time now, I can confidently say that Pawnee would be the most exciting place one could go.…

Yesterday me and my Dad went on an 11ish mile hike on the Appalachian Trail. This hike was probably one of the coolest hikes I've been on. It went from one beautiful landscape to another. As I was laying in bed that night with my muscles aching from the extra 1.5 miles we didn't plan on, I realized I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for my Dad. He introduced me to my love of the outdoors and my passion to hike the entire AT. I hope one day ,Dad, we can stand on Mount Katahdin together and look back at the 2190 miles behind…

The dining area of Rocking Horse Ranch was always hot and crowded during meal times, where the tired, overworked servers would bustle around attempting to provide excellent customer service for each and every inane request from the guests. I’ve heard that loud, hectic, quick-paced atmospheres filled with pretentious parents and scrambling children are almost calming sometimes. This atmosphere never brought me serenity; it gave me anxiety and stressed me out. Just the thought of sweeping melted ice cream cones off of the stained carpet and dry mopping the tiles floors gives me nightmares.…

The trail continued around the east side of the lake entering a gathering of trees forming an insignificant forest along the lake’s shoreline. From our viewpoint, the trees concealing the trail eventually dispersed on the southeast side of the lake, and the trail blended into the landscape. Using our imagination, we envisioned the route against the rugged terrain sloping into the lake. No point in taking a vote now, we had trekked to the lake and the consensus was to proceed with a lap around the lake.…

Everyone has their own community or organization for which they belong to. Within that community you tend to find who you are and what you are about. For me I found my identity in being an outdoors man. Being an outdoors man at my young age seems to be rare at this day, but that doesn’t prevent me from doing something I love and appreciate. Growing up with my family full of avid outdoors men helped influence me and only made my identity stronger.…

A day in Memphis is not complete without the diversity in our community. As a second generation Memphian who has primarily lived in Midtown, I had the privilege of watching several different cultures in one place and especially now that I attended one of the largest public schools. Daily, I experience someone else’s world. The people I get to meet and see are from various backgrounds: race, religion, ethnicity, etc. that I may never comprehend, which is wonderful. In Memphis, it is normal to be an enigma, to have idiosyncrasies. I believe that is the heart of Memphis. What makes this heart surpass discrimination is the acceptance that follows years of diversity. My neighborhood has single mothers whose children play with the neighborhood adolescents.…

I’ve always wanted to be good at something. Writing isn’t one of them. Hiking however, let’s say I’m confident that I hover somewhere above the line of Intermediate. Good enough to survive high elevation glacier treks and overnighters at least. As a hobby or extracurricular activity, it’s probably my biggest passion. So much that I found that writing of them is like having the opportunity to do each one over again. Once upon a time I set forth a book project, a story telling, you might say, of all my treks including the ascent of five mountains. However, I lacked the confidence of presenting a way to share my stories of me being the key subject. Eventually the project lost steam and fell to the wayside. Even so, I enjoyed reliving each one while writing of them, and, I continued to set goals and hike. Putting myself out there in high open meadows or deep forest of the Cascades has given me a fresh perspective of my everyday world. Forget about football, baseball or sports in general. Forget about housework, yard work or for that matter work itself. Actually, my accommodating career generously facilitated this hobby that at times takes ample time and expense. Therefore, we can’t forget about work. Nonetheless, the introduction to hiking has gotten me off the couch and into the…

This weekend I went to the Kansas, State Fair! I took my best friend Tori Foust. I have took her since the third grade since my brother started college when I was in second grade, so I had no one to go on rides with. When we arrived at the fair we went straight to the stables. While we were at the stables we saw a girl who looked about eight or nine years old. She was walking a beautiful tan horse with a white pattern! She asked if we would like to pet her horse, and of course we said yes. After the stables we went started to go on rides! My very favorite ride was the Star ship! The star ship is closed off it you stand in front of a padded board with wheels underneath it. It starts to spin really fast, so the board goes up and down with you…
