Personal Narrative: My Hero Ralph Waldo Emerson

As Ralph Waldo Emerson once stated, “ A hero is no braver that an ordinary man, but he is braver five minutes longer.” In my perspective, a hero does not have to have any superpowers, to me a hero is someone that has noble qualities, does good deeds, and is quite brave. To me, a person who holds all of these heroic qualities, is my father. He does not have supernatural powers, but his noble qualities and his acts of gratitude make him a hero to me.
