and stable environment. It also made me become aware of the issue of poverty not only limited in Haiti but seen it on a global scale and since then it always have been a goal of mine to bring awareness to this issue and do something about it. This is the reason why I do what I do, the reason why I strive to push myself academically as my family have always emphasized how educations is the key to open many doors and opportunities and to be able to make a difference in the world. Nobody should be living in extreme poverty where they are uncertain about their future, I’ve seen so many of friends wanted to go to school but couldn’t as they were trying to survive. Things even got worse after the 2010 Haiti Earthquake where it left millions of people homeless and injured and at loss of hope as the government unable to provide basic living standards to its own people. So this is why I do what do in order to bring hope to someone life where circumstances have taking it away, in order to create opportunities for others to strive and showcase their talent, in order to make people feel safe and have a least a sense of security but most importantly to make them look forward for a better future without uncertainty. I believe with a quality education which help me grow both mentally and academically I will be able to create a platform to give the oppressed, the poor in which they will be able to have voice, especially in Haiti where their voice are often overshadowed.
