"It seems interesting," she replied. We sat down on the grass and listened to the adult helper explain the game. It was called Baseball Balance and the goal was to balance a ball while going up and down hill. There was a short pole with strings coming out that we held while the adult put a ball on the top of the pole. If you beat the first challenge they put a larger ball on top and, if you lose control you start all over again. I could tell the competitive were interested. We started to play and the first time there was lots of failure. Once we understood it, we became more determined to go further into the game while the teachers took pictures. After about 7 minutes, my teacher suggested "Maybe you're able to beat the high score!" as she took more pictures.
"I know what I want to do now," I then spoke.
This was our last challenge and we had a small playground ball on top of the pole. You could easily knock it off so we tried not to take our eyes off of it. It fell off many times, but I was almost to the top. I just had to move a little closer and we could beat the other team.
