Personal Narrative-Six Flags
It was a warm, sunny day as we walked into the vast park. The park known as “Six Flags over Texas”. We were visiting our Aunt and uncle, and they decided that it would be a good idea for us to go to “Six Flags”. I usually like the rides at Six Flags, So I humbly agreed. After an hour of driving, we finally made it to “Six Flags over Texas”. The moment we got to the park, I immediately saw the humongous ride standing before me. An extremely tall roller coaster that was towering over everything. “The Titan” my parents say. “Hey mom?” I asked. “Do I have to ride that?” “I at least want you to try it.” she replied. I wasn’t so sure I wanted to. “Hey Evan, did you know that The Titan is twenty five stories high? It’s bigger than the Texas Rangers baseball stadium.” My dad said, making me more afraid. I’m usually fine with regular roller coasters. But when they are higher than a baseball stadium? Not so much. “Wow” I replied …show more content…
The “Sky Screamer”. The one in Six Flags in St. Louis is only 236 feet. The Sky screamer here? It’s an astounding 400 feet tall. That’s almost twice the size of the other one. It’s fifteen stories higher than the highest hill on “The Titan.”. I already knew that today was going to be a “wonderful” day. Hours passed, but it only felt like minutes as we walked up to “The Titan”. I was nervous. The ride was huge and I was afraid. I was almost begging my mom not to ride the extremely tall roller coaster, but I knew that she still would force me to. We kept waiting in line for about fifteen minutes.. Me and my family talked for a bit, and everyone else seemed fine, but the orange and blue coaster that was towering before me was frightening. We made it to the gates holding us back from the ride. The cars were a colorful combination of blue, orange, and yellow. The guy running the ride looked happy. I on the other hand, am not

Deep within the heart of New Jersey, the world-renowned Kingda Ka towers over the lofty peaks of Six Flags Great Adventure Amusement Park at a staggering height of 456 feet. The vehicle’s whimsical blue and green hues contradict its terrifying and thrilling nature. The incredible speeds of the roller coaster certainly provide enough of a thrill for the most daring adventure seekers. The winding path that the ride takes as the machine makes its way through the sky resembles the body of a snake as the animal slithers over the jungle floor. The turbulent trolley’s precipitous drop strikes fear into the hearts and minds of all riders that decide to meet the coaster’s challenge. Screams of terror and…

It was the tallest and longest rollercoaster I had ever seen. Some of it was even out of the park! When went to ride it there was a long line but the wait was quick because there were three coasters running on the same track so boarding was quick. I was excited when I first go on it and couldn’t wait to go. The hill on the coaster was extremely tall. You could see the whole park! The coaster was fast and long with several quick turns, small hills, and even a tunnel. When it was over I wanted to ride it again but we went to ride the other rollercoasters in the park. I think that the Fury was the best rollercoaster I had ever…

This is Christian Schultz reporting from Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois. I can't believe it, I might faint because they took out The Octopus ride and are going to replace it with a new ride called The Joker. I saw a fence bordering around the area where the new ride was going to be installed, and next to the fence I saw a sign that said “please don`t mind our dust.” At this time, it is vague about what kind of ride it will be. Well, enough about that other ride, let's talk about the other new ride, it`s called The Church of DOOM!! I was hasty to make this the first ride I went on. While I was waiting in line I looked around the ride, and it looked like a mock cathedral because it had stain glass windows, a high ceiling, and fancy…

Once we got to Six flags we already had our season passes so we headed to the main ride that we wanted to go on, “The Superman.” There was no line there so we headed straight to the first cars. I sat next to Victoria. Paul was behind me and next to Jake. The first drop was 220 feet straight down. On the left side I was right next to the river, on other side Sam was facing the park. For about ten seconds we were all weightless. At the bottom of the drop we were going 75 miles per hour. It was the best roller coaster I have ever been on. We all decided to go on it two more times in a row before we finally decided to go find another ride.…

I sat on the outside of the row. As I buckled up a worker came and helped me. He checked to make sure I was strapped in tight then moved on. As soon as everyone was safely buckled in the ride made a clicking noise and the seats that were just facing vertically were now horizontal. I was lying on my stomach. What if I fall or if the harness suddenly lets go. Why am I doing this? My thoughts were interrupted by the lady working yelling “clear!” and the ride jerked forward. I looked over at my father and he was smiling ear to ear. I heard something so I looked up at the loud noise and saw that we were about to be taken upward. The clinking of the chains pulling the car up made the adrenaline rush surge through me. I forgot all my fears and became super excited. We were getting closer and closer to the top. As we raised our hands in the air the ride made a wretched noise and the clinking of the chains slowed to a stop. Right as we were about to drop the chains didn’t let us go. We were stuck laying on our stomachs facing the…
