Personal Narrative: The Baseball Player
The Baseball Player Once there was a time where there was a kid from Willacoochee, Georgia, that had great talent for baseball. He played left field, first base, and pitcher. His name was Conner Johnson ,he lived in a small town named Willacoochee, and going to the starting ninth grade. Conner was six feet tall and could four feet into the air. His first year, he played a excellent first game. It was the first day of school in the ninth grade. Conner was a trouble maker, made bad grades, and skipped school. Then, one day he decided to go to school. Conner went to the principal’s office to ask how many classes he would have to be passing to play baseball. Principal …show more content…
Mrs. Louis assured,” you have a sixty-five in this class.” So, for the next three nights he studied for the finals. On the day of the finals, Conner finished the test in ten minutes. By the end of the day, Mrs. Louis graded his paper and ran to his classroom. The math teacher took Conner out of the room and questioned,” were you cheating on the test?” Conner assured,” no, I have been studying three nights straight for this test!” The teacher stated,”you now have a seventy-six in my class.” So, the next day he went to baseball tryouts. At baseball tryouts, he made left field, pitcher, and first baseman. His choice was to play outfield because he was tall and very fast. After practice, coach announced,”tomorrow will be our first game against the eagles, so you better play your heart out and have some enjoyment.” At the game the next day coach assured,” Conner, you are going to play starter at left field.” Conner exclaimed ,” thank you very much coach, I will play hard!” By the end of the game, Conner hit two home runs, stole ten bases, and caught twelve fly balls.
