I am given the most amount of personal satisfaction with my job as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Being a CNA is not an easy or pleasing job but the satisfaction I feel after every shift is worth it all. I am pleased that I am a young CNA because it helps me to gain experiences that others going into the field will not have had. I get to work with all kinds of people and I learn many things from working with…
University of New Hampshire School of Law Personal Statement One day in October, I was walking to my room after hosting a floor meeting and a Resident, Sarah, came and informed me of an arising conflict between her and her roommate Jane. When I met with both roommates individually, it became clear that the two were not compatible. One week later, Sarah witnessed Jane be violent towards another student. My concern grew for Sarah ’s well-being, knowing that she now felt unsafe in her own room.…
I would like to apply for Special Assistant. I work well with others, but am also self-motivated and can get things done without someone constantly reminding me what I need to do. I am the president of the Zero Waste club, and an honor student. I take pride in everything I do, and strive to go above and beyond what is expected from me. Working well with others along with good communication is a strong suit of mine. In soccer I am center defense (sweeper), so I have to tell the outside defenders who their mark is, and make sure the other team does not get past us. In tennis I play doubles, so I constantly communicating to the other player to make sure one of us has the ball, or to tell them that it is out so they do not have to work as hard.…
After Graduate School, I hope to have my PhD in psychology or my doctorate in psychiatry. I would like to start out working in jails, talking to criminals and analyzing their brains versus the brain of an average adult to study how the brain reacts with criminal activity and why they do and feel what they do. I have heard that a person can not do that type of work for very long because it is emotionally tasking so after that, I would like to open my own counseling practice up. I would do either marriage and family therapy or focus on teenage depression. Eventually, I would like to retire into school psychology or become a psychology teacher. Also, if I ever have enough money, I will buy a house devoted to taking in stray animals…
My professional goal is to become a teacher with hard work and dedication I know I can reach my lifetime goal. For my extra-curricular activities, I have attended the Head Start at Brookhaven Community College where I have volunteered over thirty hours in a semester to get myself prepared for the profession. Going to the local Head Start gave me the opportunity to see if this is really what I want to do for many years. I put myself in a position where I actually enjoyed what I was doing, I had patience which a lot of people don’t have to teach younger kids. I worked with three to five years old, I had to show them I was the leader. In my four years of High School, I have taken my time out to be a leader in my school. I was vice-president freshman…
Waking up in the middle of the night coughing and gasping for air occurred on a regular basis for me as a child. I slept with an inhaler and a nebulizer next to my bed in the event of the next attack. My asthma attacks were frightening for my parents and especially for me as I felt as if I was on the verge of death whenever I suddenly could not breathe. Although I was always in and out of emergency rooms and doctor visits at a young age, having tried everything from nebulizer treatments to bronchodilators, I was always comforted by the doctors and nurses who always took the time to explain and alleviate any concerns and anxiety I had. Seeing their devotion to their profession and for patient care has motivated me to pursue graduate study in the field of nursing to invest my future to coordinate and implement quality healthcare for others.…
What is the reality of surrogacy today? Is it the miracle of helping couples complete their families with a baby? Is it pushing technology to surpass Mother Nature so that infertile couples or same sex couples can have a child of their own? How far will we go as a country, a nation, or a world to ensure a couple has a baby? Are the motives surrounding this process in the best interest of the families and the baby? The reality of surrogacy is the demand. With demand comes great responsibility and with the demand for surrogacy growing so rapidly, we have a responsibility to ensure the safety of the surrogate, couples seeking surrogacy and the child. To ensure safety, laws and regulations must be implemented not only state wide but nationally as well.…

Influence, inspiration, joy, perfectionism, creativity and dynamism … These are what fashion means to me. The function of fashion for me is its attraction on masses, despite it changes quickly, it inhales people into that massive change every season. Following fashion feels like watching a different vivid carnival. The reason I am writing this statement of purpose letter is the desire of studying fashion management in your academy for the next semester…
As a youngster growing up in a small town in central Iran I used to have a vague picture of pursuing a PhD degree in America. Most everyone with whom I shared my dream of studying in USA used to volunteer an opinion that I would stand no chance to achieve such a purpose. All along there was only one single prominent person in my life who always supported me in my quest to excel in learning: My Mom. Inspired by my Mom’s support and the burning desire to prove to others that I am able to make my dreams come true I decided to draw a road map to success where first step winning admission from Allame Tabatabaei High which is the best high school in the province. It was at Allame where one of my first turning points of my life occurred; I got familiar with one of the most attractive branches of Natural Science, Physics. My admiration grew by day towards scientists like Albert Einstein and Stephen William Hawking, leading me to the point which I decided to participate in Regional Olympiad of Physics. Though I passed the first level, the lack of a well designed training program in the province prevented me from a successful attempt in the national level. However, I did not lose faith. In fact, it made me stronger and also ever firmer in my belief in this saying: “if there is a dead-end, then go through it”. With this attitude I could manage to achieve an excellent result – and also got to the second major turning point in my life – in the National University Admission Exams. In 2007 I attained the rank of 311 in my local region and 835 nationwide, among approximately 500,000 participants. This gave me a wide spectrum of options to choose my desired field of study as well as my university. Due to my solid background in mathematics as well as my high interest in engineering and mathematical sciences, I chose Industrial Engineering at Sharif University of Technology -the top…
I believe that education is the most important asset and quality of a man and one should attempt his best to acquire it. My country India, world’s largest democracy and home to over a billion fellow country men, has a very low Doctor to patient ratio and even lower Dentist to patient ratio. This led me to take my graduation in Dentistry. My days in Dental School often made me think about management of available resourses which involved simple insurence policies, hygienic practices than treating the diseases with an ensuing dramatic increase in the cost of such treatment that the people of my country can not afford.…
