Sarah needed someone to advocate for her and this was a way that I could use the privilege of my powerful voice to help someone. I cannot change what someone has experienced, but I can use my talents to fight for the justice they deserve. I aspire to become an attorney in criminal law, fighting for people who have been victims/survivors of a crime committed against them. I am hardworking, devoted and passionate to all that I am involved with and not afraid to speak up when needed. I excel in leadership, planning and organizing effectively to manage many life aspects at once and can handle a challenge. I commit myself in my education and have a passion for the legal system and more specifically the criminal law area.
University of New Hampshire School of Law has had my interest from a young age, when I would attend the hockey games and hear from extended family alumni. Being in such a wonderful community, I saw firsthand how supportive the school is from their hockey games to their academics. UNH Law has focus areas in my desired field of law, that I hope to work in including incredible opportunities such as, the Criminal Practice Clinic. Wanting to primarily practice in New Hampshire one day, UNH Law has the best location and opportunities for networking. UNH Law has just grown more prestigious each year, and increasing my desire to attend one day. Having many professors attend UNH Law and looking at their success, I am inspired to attend myself. Therefore, the University of New Hampshire School of Law is my top choice in furthering my career
