What I am Passionate About.
I am passionate about taking care of and helping children. I have been babysitting for over three years and I love taking care of the children I babysit for. I enjoy playing games and making sure that the kids are having fun as well. I like being able to be a positive influence on them even in the smallest way. In the future, I hope to become a preschool teacher to help children learn new things. Early childhood would be the best fit for me as I can interact with young children better than older children. Being able to teach children would be an awarding and exciting experience in my life.

He is such as bright and funny little boy. I have kept him overnight a few times and it is a learning experience. I enjoy helping him learn his colors and shapes. I also read books to him. I hope that he will appreciate all that I do for him when he gets older. He sure is a change from watching three little girls as he likes to play with trains and dinosaurs. John at times seems to think of me as his second mother as we are always doing something fun when he is at my house.
There are several reasons why I would like to have a job in early childhood education. The first being that I love kids and they seem to enjoy being around me. My grandmother says they swarm to me anywhere I go where there are little children. She says it’s like I give off this vibe that the kids pick up on. Whatever the reason, I simply love them. The children may be more apt to learn from me since I so enjoy working with them. One article I ran across was about a book called “The Passionate Teacher: A Practical Guide” by Robert L. Fried. In this book, he talks about how a group of students discuss a certain teacher that they had as “not only a teacher, but a kind of mother to us”.
