A problem is training nurses how to properly take care of children when the children's bodies are still developing and their body is different from a teen or young adult. This means that nurses need to go to a different college to learn how treat children from illness. So they really don't need a certified nurse for little scratches. The only problem is that the employee of the day care facility may be new, and may or may not have experience. If these day care facilities approved of experienced and trustworthy employees then they wouldn't need to pay extra money for certified nurses. If these facilities choose random employees then they would need to hire certified nurses.
I believe that every day care facility should have certified nurses just in case something bad does happen they can possibly handle their job. I think the hardest part about this is to get people certified for being able to take care of a child when ill or has been hurt. I believe that just because the government does not think that children don't deserve the same treatment as the other kids that go to an elementary, and that gets me really upset. That's not fair for the children that do not to get the same treatment as an elementary kid gets because there are no certified nurses in the day care
