Persuasive Essay About Cloning
Nowadays some people need organs to live and other people can't give them or they don't want to give them. Also nowadays some animals are becoming extinct. But with cloning we could get those organs for those people, we could heal cancer with good tissue and bring back those animals, and see how they use to live we can do all these with cloning. When we cloned Dolly it worked but she only lived for 8 months.Since it cost so much money do just clone Dolly we just decided not to do it anymore, but if we just don’t be doing any more were will we get in life because we should always just keep trying to get better. It took Thomas Edison's 1,000 tr till he created the light bulb and he didn't give up so neither should we.

If we don’t clone humans or animals than we might not be able to bring back animals that went extinct 1000s of 1000 of years ago like the dinosaurs or other animals that might help us understand the past better like we could be able to bring back the world's greatest minds like Albert Einstein or the other greatest minds.

If we don’t do cloning than we might not be able to do other stuff in the future like honey or fish or eggs or meat, so why don’t we do cloning to save animals from becoming extinct, another reason we should do cloning, is cloning can be beneficial to medicine. No matter what

    · Cloning would also deal with killing embryos. You might not have known, but Dolly, the sheep that was cloned in 1996, was one of over 200 sheep embryos and hers was the only embryo that survived. The rest died or were thrown away. Imagine if the failure rate was that high when we started to clone humans. More than 200 embryos, the start of 200 human beings, would die for the sake of just one embryo that would have the same DNA as some one else (LiveScience.com 2009).…

While discussion of human cloning is an ongoing debate, the idea of cloning organs is sought after. There is new technology that is trying to do this by printing out organs. Essentially, by using a 3D printer, organs can be created using a patient’s own cells. So far, it is easier to print out certain types of cells, such as skin cells. More complicated organs, such as kidneys and livers are harder to replicate because their structure has a more diverse, complicated plethora of cells. It is also very difficult to keep these cells alive after printing them. Although the 3-D printing of organs is very limited today, there is hope in the future that these organs can be replicated successfully. Being able to replicate human organs will lead to many medical advancements, such as in surgery, education, and research.…

Cloning can change the way we live our lives. If we could perfect cloning we could do amazing things with science. For example, cloning could help out in many experiments. Maybe save lives by helping to find a cure for diseases by using a clone of someone you were examining, but died in the process. Like the movie “My Sister's Keeper”, in this movie the oldest daughter is diagnosed with Leukemia and the parents create a younger daughter that is almost an exact replica of her. The younger of the two is used for parts every time the older needs them. Cloning could be used a lot in situations like this. “I take the view that anything you can do to relieve suffering or improve human health will usually be widely accepted by the public - that is to say, if cloning actually turned out to be solving some problems and was useful to people, I think it would be accepted.” (John…

There are many opinions that different from both sides of going for and against animal cloning. Jacqueline Langwith writes, “Some people don't like cloning because they do not like the idea of recreating an animal or species” (Langwith). Although her statement provides a rationale why certain people may not like this process, they do not understand that animal cloning is not hurting the species. Cloning is saving species. Therefore, animal cloning should be legalized. Cloning can save endangered species, researchers can use animal clones for a food source, and researchers can study organs and tissues from clones.…

Cloning is useful on a bacterial level for doing all sorts of science related to DNA. Bacterial clone libraries are kept with every gene we find. Cloning on a larger scale would allow us to produce an organ transplant without worry of rejection from the host. Whole animal cloning is only useful for people who want the same looking pet they had that died or maybe you had a good steak and you wanted to clone that cow. The possible impact of cloning is improving the overall standards human beings. Cloning will do a lot for medical research. It will also challenge people’s ideas about life and about themselves. Disadvantage of the use of cloning are adding clones to the population would make things worse, world would eventually explode. Benefits of the use of cloning such as medical emergencies for an example if someone needed a heart or someone needed something donated or replaced. Cloned genes are also used to produce drugs, insulin, clotting factors, human growth hormone, and industrial enzymes. In 1952 scientists transferred a cell from a frog embryo into an unfertilized egg, which then developed into a…

There are many animals that are going extinct now than ever before. Dolly, the first successful clone of a sheep [mammal], was perfectly normal. She was a mother of six lambs, which were all bred the old-fashioned way. Although sheep aren’t going extinct it’s a perfectly good example of cloning. Just because we can prevent the extinction of an animal population, should we?…

74% of americans want to put research into therapeutic cloning, so researchers can study more about it. If we had therapeutic cloning then we would find cures for diseases like leukemia, parkinson's disease, cancer, heart attacks, alzheimer's, cosmetic surgery, diabetes, and many more. If therapeutic cloning using embryos is a success than with finding new cures we would save countless of lives and increase the life of countless others. Like for diabetes would use insulin secreting, and nerve cells in stroke for parkinson’s disease. With further advances in understanding of how organs regenerate it would increase the possible treatments that could be…

What do you think about cloning? Many people often consider it as a popular sci-fi movie topic, but little do they know that it has already become a reality. Many animals have been cloned in the past, and science is eager to move onto bigger and better things. However, the next step in cloning is one of great debate and controversy; human cloning. The biggest obstacle in cloning research is the ethical concern for human life and well-being, one that has caused human cloning to be banned in countless countries. Of course, not all cloning is about making an identical copy of someone, and not all of it can be considered negative.…

This article is trying to prove that human cloning is right. “I argue for cloning as some people are awaiting organ transplants”. “There are no problems with identical twins so why should there be a problem with clones”. As a result, human cloning may have advantages but no disadvantages. I believe the argument is strong. The one quote that made me side with this article was “I argue for human cloning as some people are awaiting organ transplants.…
