It is alright to have upgraded security in a school,
it’s a government building. These people are trained unlike teachers; I don’t believe they should be
able to carry a gun. No matter how much training they have, or how much trust students have for
the teacher, it is just too dangerous. Bullying doesn’t lead to school shootings, unless its prolonged
without help. Shooters usually have a psychotic mindset behind why they did it, In Dylan and
Eric's case, it was because they thought the school needed to learn a lesson. It is also not a gun
control issue. Governmental officials say stricter gun laws could stop shootings, this is not true.
That is like saying making drugs illegal will stop people from using drugs. No it won't. That is not
the problem, it is the people.

schools could invest a little more money into security, they might solve the problem of lessening, or
