Persuasive Essay: Should Children Work At Early Ages
A child working at early ages is not as good as you think. Children should not work at early ages. Children should not work at early ages because children may care more about the money and less about their education may drop out of school, and not be able to balance school work and their job life. Children should be able to be children for as long as they can be without worrying about a job, but getting their education.
Some children’s minds are set that they feel money is everything they need. Many may feel it is more important than education. For some children, their whole world revolves around money and materialistic wants. They may figure that they do not need to attend school to be able to accomplish what is right. They may feel like they can survive off of the money that they earn. Some children may not even want to attend school. Children being able to get a job at an early age would give them the opportunity to not be able to attend school. Children should not drop out of school for a job. In most cases, if children go to school, they can make more money than the job that they were perusing in. Having a job and making money should not be a reason why children should drop out of school.
Lastly, Children may fall behind in school work because they are not able to balance school work and a job. Many kids fall asleep in class because of late working hours. Some children may come home and forget about homework. They may say “I’ll do it later”, but later never comes. Being able to balance school and job means to be able to go to work and come home and realize you still have school work to complete.
