For example if a kid wants to be a doctor they will have to go through four years of college then go to another school where they teach how to be a doctor. They will also be working a lot if a student wants to be a doctor but the job does pay very well. This is what is expected of a doctor which is another reason why middle schools should focus on careers.
Lastly, if middle schools focused on careers it could help kids to set realistic goals for themselves. For example if a kid wants to be a pro football player there is a very slim chance of that happening because a very small percent of players go pro. A more realistic job is police officer because anyone can become a police officer or a firefighter. Those are realistic jobs that kids can set goals for and with work one day accomplice. Realistic goals is one of the key reasons why middle schools should focus on careers.
On the other hand, if schools focused on careers it would cost more money to found each career. For example say a student wanted to be a doctor the school would have to buy medical equipment to teach that profession. The coast of the equipment would affect the residence by raising the taxes which could make the residence of said town oppose the idea. That is one reason that could challenge the idea of middle schools focusing on
