Title of presentation: Medan Selera Sri Iskandar as a lunch venue alternative for UTP Student 1) Justify your topic by describing the problem that you have identified * Poor service and expensive price of the food in UTP giving a nightmare to the entire student in UTP. Unfortunately, without any power and choice they have to accept whatever it is. Although there are 6 cafeterias, but all were look alike. Thus this presentation is giving an alternative for UTP student to have their lunch.
Audience
a) How did you determine the knowledge level/stand /view point of your audience? * Audience for this presentation will consist of undergraduate students of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) from varies field of study such as civil engineering, petroleum engineering and business information system. No vegetarian among the audiences and facing the same problem about UTP cafeteria. b) How did this information influence your presentation? * Since the audiences having the same complaint, this presentation needs to be more convincing as food is one of important element in student life. Used of picture and testimonial might help persuade the audience. c) How do you plan to gain the audience’s attention? * Picture of foods will be displayed and ask the audience to guess the price of them based on UTP cafeteria rates. d) In relation to your topic, what are some ethical issues that you look into consideration? Explain. * Religion and culture differences might affect the nature of eating for someone. For example Iranian might love to eat “Nan’’ and did not like rice, and some Buddhism might not eat beef. Thus this presentation must be more careful regarding the sensitivity of the audience.
