Persuasive Speech On Roller Coasters
I look at people as if they’re mentally ill when they say it’s scary. You can’t knock it until you’ve tried it. Lighten up and have fun because you didn’t pay a pretty penny to get admission anyway.

I would always get upset I wasn’t tall enough to ride the rides at SIx Flags or any other amusement park. I’m that person that never backed down from a roller coaster. My family and I would always bet who’d chicken out first… I’d always win that wager. Once we got to the park, I headed straight to the biggest ride. I meant business when it came to riding roller coasters because they’re so fun. Can’t remember one time where I said I was scared to ride a roller coaster. How could anyone not like fast twists, turns, loops etc. My personal

There are two types of rollercoasters that steal the stage in the adrenaline-rush world. There are the steel roller coasters and the wooden roller coasters, each with their advantages and disadvantages. However, what makes a rollercoaster exciting? Maybe it is the flips and twists of the steel rollercoaster, or the depth defying drops and rattling turns of the wooden rollercoaster. There are three criteria that stand out when choosing either ride: the suspense and drop, the twists, turns, and flips, and the many different cars in which the riders can be seated as. I feel that the steel rollercoaster best fits all of these necessary parts of a good roller coaster ride.…

You wait in line for what seems like forever and finally you take your seat. You pull the paddle bars so they fit snug against your shoulders. You reach the top and then comes the big drop. You start screaming or if you're daring you put your hands up and enjoy the ride. I'm of course speaking of roller coasters. Today I'm going to go over the history, the different types of roller coasters, the mechanics, and the most important part, safety of roller coasters.…

In 2007 my family and I went to Desoto Caverns. There was a ride there that you had to be a certain height for. I wanted to ride it, so bad! It was called bumper baths, you raced around this track in a little bathtub. I wasn’t tall enough to drive it, but the…

There are multiple examples. Firstly, the rides require not only a certain personal height, but they require a certain age. This prevents startled children from suffering from a panic attack at the intense portions of the rides. For instance, when visiting Six Flags over Georgia, I encountered a child wanting to go onto a particular ride with who I assumed was an older sibling. However, the operator would not permit the child on due to his age. “The ride is just not suitable for someone of that age,” I remembered him saying to the mother. Doubtless to say you would not want your ten year old child to be on a four hundred foot tall roller coaster which has five loops, and goes upside down at least two times. Six Flags over Georgia is designed more so for teenagers and adults. This is due to not only the taller rides and more intense decorations, but also due to, in part, a longer ride itself. Children, in my visit to Six Flags over Georgia, do not like long and extreme rides. I saw this specific occurrence while boarding The Batman, (this is a roller coaster which has two…

As an extra precaution, we have seat belts that strap across your body just to make sure no one is getting out before the ride ends. We have a height requirement of 55 inches. Though the system is made to keep everyone safe, this ride can be quite rough for the little ones. But don’t worry,if your child can’t ride here, there are many rides all around this park! I absolutely had to use a photo of Princess Diana because I was a huge fan of hers. I remember watching her wedding on television when I was a young child, and I cried like a baby when she met her untimely demise. I don't recall every crying like that when a celebrity died, but she was my heroine and I loved her! Since then I've kept up with the ins and outs of the Royal Family and the shenanigans of Prince Harry, my now favorite Prince. He is a Princess Diana reincarnated in the male form. Lives by his own rules and with not a care in the world. Madison and I were able to visit the Madame Tussauds London museum while on our trip to London just recently, thanks to the kind folks of Merlin Entertainment. Since this is most likely the only way we'll ever get to the meet the Royal Family we just had to do it. Now if you're thinking all wax museums are the same, well Madame Tussauds London is on a whole new level of awesome. I've…

Once I got off that ride I was ready to try a ride just as fun, but with speed. The next roller coaster I got on only spun me around in a circle, but it felt good to feel the wind hit me hard against my face. The ride started off slowly, then each time I, went around the pace picked up. The faster it went the more my heart began to race, and the harder it was to catch my breath from the wind hitting so hard. The speed of the roller coaster was amazing I was so excited to be going so quickly in such a rush.…
